#3 No. Most of the Haredi are infected - these who not busy consuming limited medical resource are busy spreading it to the rest of the population.
And there is nothing to be done - now.

In proportional representation, a small group - not interested in anything except benefits to itself - can hold a balance of power. For the past generation, the ultra-religious parties held that position. Used it to build a state within the state - where they ignore the rest of us except always demanding more money (for their madrasas) & more services from the "apostate" majority.

Hopefully, the current crisis will the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The rabbi claims the newspaper misrepresented that he said. The professor apologizes for believing the newspaper. And,
"I was asked by the Knesset’s Law, Justice and Constitution Committee to increase the number of tests in Bnei Brak and other ultra-Orthodox cities, and already today drive-in complexes and inspection centers will open in all these cities. Increasing the amount of tests is essential for truncating the infection chains."

but few people are now dying of it in nyc with statewide deaths averaging under 10/day since aug 1 and deaths in, for example King's County, aka brooklyn, under 1 per day in that time
