#1 The sanctions target the companies managed by Mahmood Rashid Amur Al Habsi, based in Oman, Liberia and Romania. “Al-Habsi used its Oman-based company, Nimr International LLC, to facilitate the sale and transport of Iranian oil to support the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards. (…) Al Habsi also used Orbit Petrochemicals. Trading Oman, based in Oman, to facilitate the sale of Iranian oil in order to hide the involvement of the Quds Force. (…) Bravery Maritime Corporation, a company registered in Liberia, is identified for sanction under the Executive Order. 13224, with amendments, due to the fact that it is owned, controlled or managed, directly or indirectly, by Al Habsi. (…) The company Nimr International SRL, based in Romania, is identified by virtue of the Executive Order 13224 , with modifications, as it is owned, controlled or conducted, directly or indirectly, by Al Habsi, “the US Treasury Department said.
