#1 The whole idea is to constantly change the language. You can tell at a glance who is and is not in your tribe. Changing it makes everyone stay on their toes and you can see who pays attention and who doesn't. Moreover it's a useful form of mind control, getting people used to the idea that external forces may control what they think and say.

#2 WTF has CDC have to do with language? Is it becoming the Center for Decontamination of Colloquialisms?

Implicit in this is the assertion that the American population is largely mentally ill, just because they say some things that are 'hurtful' to some whiny attention wh0res. Intrusive, fascist gaslighting by federal agencies, ordered by Gawd knows who and why.

#12 I'm old enough to remember when we used to refer to "disabled" people as "crippled." Then that was deemed too cruel, so we had to call them disabled, or "differently abled" or something.
