The USA DOD will be facing an enemy 2x's it size and remotely. The distance and logistics already favor CCP.

#10 US special forces troops are deployed pretty much every freakin where. Just like every embassy has marine guards, every military attache has a couple of 'tourists' that wander around and notice things and talk to people.
Now, unit deployment with equipment is something else.
