#2 The new CPUs are built on a 10nm lithography process. Intel is well behind until they can move to a 5nm process. AMD builds their CPUs and graphics chips on a 7nm process and their new Zen4 CPUs should arrive early 2022 will be on a 5nm process. Plus the AMD chiplet tech allows a higher yield than the larger Intel chips, further cutting costs.
