#1 if she were a white man she wouldn't have been selected as VP nominee; in fact she wouldn't have been selected to be DA in SF, or Att Gen in Calif or Senator in Calif.

if she was trying to fit into a job for which she was qualified she might be a public defender or a junior level in the prosecutor's office

Honest To God, she was the best candidate for district attorney in San Francisco when she ran. In fact I voted for her. Terence Hallinan was all kinds of worse.
