#2 Ukrainian government statement:
"A unit of Kadyrov forces near Hostomel was destroyed. Commander of the 141st Regiment of the Chechen unit of the Russian Guard, Magomed Tushayev, was killed together with the group," the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

The destruction delayed as the enemy were insidiously hiding behind civilian infrastructure.

Kadyrov forces units were also spotted in Kharkiv direction, with the Z mark on their vehicles. Currently, such vehicles are on their way from Sumy to Kyiv.

#4 Infantry-Armor combined arms tactics.... be hard. Harder still when the column has to stop 5 times per day for prayer.

I can see a "highway of death" scenario unfolding.

#6 #4 - B, I don't know nuthin', but I see pictures of Russian armor rolling along and I see pictures of Russian armor blown to pieces. But I don't see any dismounts, alive or otherwise. Are those 18-year old conscripts afraid to get out of their vehicles? (I would be.)

#7 /\ Welcome to the empty world of the aging, helpless armchair quarterbacks. Here are some possibilities:

1. Dismounted, hiding in the woods.
2. Dismounted, to become POW's.
3. Dismounted, looking for Class-1 (food) or fuel
(Class-III)
4. Dismounted, caught a ride on another vehicle.
5. Hiding in vehciles.

I'm going with options 1 and 2.

a. Moving = A challenging JAV or RPG target.
b. Moving fast = Increasingly difficult target, limited engagement window.
c. Non-moving, Supported by dug-in infantry = Very challenging, heavy pucker factor target, very brief (single shot) engagement window.
d. Non-moving, unassisted by infantry = Little or no challenge, maximum engagement window.
