#4 Sixty one hospitals - a very specific number which makes it more believable compared to "a bunch of hospitals". Late in the paragraph, we learn that the hospitals are still open, but some of them have broken windows from shelling in the city.

No, I'm not taking sides. I just like to know when someone is trying to sell me something.

Just like the number the of destroyed tanks or aircraft, it is the best accumulation of reports that the Ukrainian government has at that moment in time.

#6 Late in the paragraph, we learn that the hospitals are still open, but some of them have broken windows from shelling in the city.

Most of those hospitals have been hit w/Grad rockets and artillery. They won't level large buildings but will kill and wound people, destroy equipment and supplies and contaminate sterile areas. The medical personnel will have to work with what remains since the indiscriminate shelling creates even more casualties.
