#1 Unfortunately the fun has just begun. The people in charge have no ability to fix anything. They always demand money for this and that and nothing changes. Politicians today in power are professional con men. In times past they would scam people in each community they coned and moved on to avoid being caught but today they are career politicians and use they craft over and over having no fear of being caught. They were called slickers in those days and were just as destructive.

#2 In an article a couple of weeks ago, some Russian analyst said that Putin rose to power because he would beat his enemies by escalating to unthinkable levels - there was a word for it among the various gangs that translated into something like "icyness".

#3 That would suit Zelensky and all the little neo-cons just fine.

#4 I suspect massive retaliation will be cyber-attacks. Hopefully they'll drain the bank accounts of a few of our corrupt politicians who made money off shady deals in Ukraine.

It would be nice to see Biden or Pelosi complain how they lost ? million dollars when there is no conceivable way she could have earned that on their salary.

#5 The US these days is basically like that drunk guy at the bl@cjkac table. The savvy players are figuring out how to use his distraction to their advantage.

#6 The smart move would be to let the secondary and tertiary...'totally unforeseeable' cascading effects of the blanket sanctions play out before getting into cyber. Even then lots of small nuisance everywhere would be enough, especially with current cluorocracy (Sp?).

Surely he can find some more vulnerabilities in Windows.

#8  Our resident Putin lovers should consider that all this software was created mainly in the USA so when it's time for real cyber war, we'll make Putin look bad at it.

I know that bothers our pro Putin friends in the GOP, but, such is life.

#9 No, crushing the Internet will be a distraction when London/DC/Brussels is covered by a mushroom cloud.
