#2 It is lucrative. And someone will do it. Why not the State? This way it doesn't get done to innocent accident victims and appendicitis patients. And there's catch, but no release. Win win win.

#3 This sounds like a slippery slope. When the police begin to nab criminals based on age, health, blood type…. The actual crime can be determined later.

The late governor of Pennsylvania Bob Casey went in for a routine physical and came out with new organs. Surprise! A Governor jumped to the top of the organ donor list.
