#1 Yeah well the Shanghai lockdown and the subsequent protests have put Taiwan on the back burner. Biggest takeaway: there's a fresh food clock on top of a military click. Chinese don't trust canned/dried food. So supply fresh food will be a problem if ever they invade Taiwan.

#3 I'm pretty sure Tawain has far better weapons, and far better training, than Ukraine. Also troop transports at sea are sitting ducks.

Also the economic pain that might result. Russia sells raw goods the west needs. China says cheap plastic crap nobody really needs. They face economic collapse if they get the same united opinion against an invasion of Taiwan.
