I see, before the family and his own shooting, reports emerged that Murdaugh was pushed out of his law firm over "millions in missing funds."

On September 16, 2021, according to court Doc's he was arrested in connection to an insurance fraud scheme that court documents say involved him arranging for his own killing so his surviving son could collect the life insurance payout.

So he now is facing charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and filing a false police report, according to a statement from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. (SCLED)

Most notability, he has a Mental Illness of donating to Democrats, including Joe B.

#3 The fatal error here was stealing from his law partners. Bar associations will tolerate some misconduct, but that's a real red line.
