The FBI and Progressive Democrat prosecutors and politicians may be coddling them now, but the cadres are keenly aware of their roots.

2. With regard to your links, we were watching events in Syria at the time. Israel was very open about the fact that if they wanted to provide the local Syrians with medical care, the local terrorists insisted on being treated as well. The alternative was to leave the local Syrians to suffer. That the local terrorists — taqfiri Sunnis or atheist Communists, all — did not allow any Assad-supporting Shiites to share in the bounty ought to be no surprise. But David Duke is a proud racist and Jew-hater of long standing, being a former Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan before he gave politics a try, so one would expect confirmation bias rather than thoughtful insight.

Unspoken was the fact that in the process of treating the terrorists — some of whom no doubt were indeed ISIS, Al Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood, and Communists of various sorts — Israeli intelligence learned all sorts of information about them and their groups including tables of organization and identities. And also that Israeli intelligence had a chance to debrief their moles in the various groups. But training ISIS? I fear that just because some Russian activist makes a claim to Iranian state television, that is not proof the claim is true.

Putting in new false-nose-and-glasses name changes from time to time, along with turning their attention to newly fashionable causes, does not mask the continuity of personnel and tactics. Just at the moment some are marching and rioting about abortion instead of about the police or the latest Black criminal to get himself killed, while others have gone back to environmental issues. Yes, the FBI and the Department of Justice are coddling them, but they are merely working with preexisting groups and structures.
