#3 If it was one of their newest front line attack planes, shot down by an S300 or S400, (I don't know if that's the case) that's a mixed message to the world's arms customers for sure.

#4 It was an SU-34M which the first 20 were delivered a month or so ago. Order placed in May 2020.

So anti-missile tech is crap
Pilot training is crap
or all of the above.

#5 the SU-34M may not be crap but it is not much of an improvement over the 1990 model

or at least not enough of an improvement
