Old female with long stick now. Danger stick. Hurt uncle Dodo once, never walked same. Bubby want no trouble. Mummy warn about this behaviour. Stick people. Lunatics. Old female run around, growl to herself. Not to Bubby. Rude. Maybe Bubby should head back. Smell of more fear. Is something about to happen?

Old female shouting about a 'china' now. And aaar enn aayy. Shouting at Bubby. Eh?

Uh oh! More loud people! In lunatic speeding people box! Run Bubby, run! Fuck these people, this spot no good anymore. Old place good.

#6 Because - the bear had been growing more and more comfortable emerging from the woods; he grew more and more comfortable exploring our trash and then he took over territory in exploring our lawn; he was "habituated" ultimately, as bear watchers say; he had ownership of the lawn and was circling the house to mark his territory. He was comfortable at last in stalking the homeowners.

He was here because — I had done nothing to stop him. He was here because I let him slowly take over our home.

My not being able to look directly at the bear did not make me any safer. My denial put me in greater danger.

This all, of course, really happened. But that does not mean it is not also a metaphor.

There are a lot more analogous metaphors for her bear story in this world than the vaccine.

#7 Murcek, I never said it did. I just pointed out that the attribution of a long (long, long) list of maladies to it is suspect. You can be skeptical of it without being gullible -- and this is getting into the "global climate change" territory, where everything is blamed on a single cause.
