I expect more from a guy like VDH. This is a silly statement.

The poorer don't have any more money with inflation, they know it because they aren't stupid.

And the richer know very well how to protect themselves against inflation. They don't keep their assets in cash.

#2 If by "richer" VDH is referring to the Middle Class then he is making a valid point. The Middle Class does not have the ability to "buy a Congress Critter" to protect their wealth like the Truly Rich do.
