#2 Gyms may have been closed, but nothing stopping a little yard work, wood splitting or even a walk in the neighborhood (from outpost in idiillic Puget Sound, far from the cesspool called Seattle). Your mileage may vary.

#5 they scared people from going outside when they should have been promoting walks and going to the park and beech and such. Big missed opportunity, instead the liquor industry (and eventually the weight loss industry) profited.

Depends on where you were standing. We out here basically gave the finger to the protocols even when being publicly shamed on state news TV. Australians were being busted for walking their dog in their back yard. Michiganders were accused of bio-terrorism for wanting a garden. Daily Mail posted an international hit piece on a lady who got upset about a stalker hunting her for walking a grocery store against the protocols of covid.

El Salvador was the first country (I came across) who encouraged exercise and a healthy diet as a primary defense against the covid.

The article may come across as a bit snotty, unless one is of the persuasion that perhaps this should have been released around week 6 of two weeks to flatten the curve, had serious people been in charge.

#9 Sometimes you just hav to walk against the light. I also dont pay Emporer Jay his 8 cent plastic bag ransom either. I use bags from the produce or bakery section.
