#4 Should the US Army create an Africa Corps to intervene in stuff we don't need to be involved in? They could make up an all Black Division... the locals would love it and no chance of another Blackhawk Down situation.

#6 Ref #4: Some attempts have been made by the Army in this direction. Dismal results so far. There really is no monolithic connection, or a very distant connection at best. Too many generations removed, possibly 7-10. Different diets, dress, religions, speech, education, martial practices, language. The list is endless.

Tribal difference on the continent itself have been difficult to mediate, let along some frowning distant cousin.

There is more to culture than skin color.
