...This is really starting to sound like what the Imperial Japanese were telling their people as things started to close in about the beginning of 1945. Read John Toland's The Rising Sun or John Dower's War Without Mercy for a very good idea of where this sort of thing is going to end up.

#4 Ukraine contained something like 40 million people, which amounts to about 20 million males or approximately 5 million of age to serve in the armed forces. The armed forces of Ukraine could easily produce an armed force from these numbers of one million. That Ukraine has been training recruits actively and as fast as possible since February makes such numbers plausible in the near future. The losses described, are negligible by comparison.
