#1 Should we expect to see a new Climate Cause special interest group protesting and collecting donations. Plus asking Congress to pass a "Bat Protection Act" and allocate $$$$$ to SAVE THE BATS

#2 When "virtually free energy" from fusion becomes available, we will be able to solve these problems. Air condition the entire planet to reverse gerbil worming and put baseboard heat wherever the bats and homeless congregate.

#3 We already have to mitigate impacts to bats on projects where they live (bridges, stadiums), I can personally affirm. Bats are great insect consumers as well as excellent pollinators. Perhaps small coats?

#5 Winter Storm Elliot and its aftermath will probably end up causing nearly 100 human fatalities.

The winter storm Uri of early 2022 had over 200 fatalities, mostly in Texas.

The USA has, in the past 30 years, advanced substantially in the quality of its preparation for Tropical storms.

Unfortunately, preparation for winter storms has not been so greatly improved.

FEMA has a 'look out for the hurricane' bias that goes back a long way. Time to change that but it will take action by the Prez.

#8 So, if we keep having "historic" winter storms every year, are they still historic? Or are they just winter?
