I am sure many staff members, and contractors have a collection of reported "lost" ID Badges". ☺

But visual Security Photo ID only badges were already being replaced by computer controlled access badges even back in the 90's. Which could be deactivated in seconds, causing lock down / lock-in on access attempt.
