#2 I've begun to wonder just who is behind this campaign. Their website is opaque, and I can't figure out who they are.

But they don't seem to be presenting the Jesus of the Bible. He comes across more as Oprah, maybe with a few dashes of Jerry Springer and Nancy Pelosi thrown in?

This is the Feast of St Stephen, OG of the Army of Steve, a man who was not martyred for preaching a dumbed down Gospel made palatable to the opponents of The Way. Stephen spoke out boldly, took the head shots and defeated Saul despite the high quality of his valet service to the stoners.

Jesus miraculously fed thousands; those who claim that He merely encouraged the crowd to redistribute their sack lunches are heretics as are the folks that say all those other worse lies about Him. He loved sinners enough not to leave them in their sin.

A search of Servant Foundation yields a number of web pages reporting from both left and right, which among them point out that this is a slick, multi-year marketing campaign by a conservative Christian charitable foundation — vaguely connected to an unnamed Koch — to trigger young people to turn toward Christianity and find a church.
