BTW: Regarding the shooting. I was OK with the defensive actions. But when he administered the coup de grâce to an obvious already neutralized thug that is where the issues started.

So I guess he could be charged with Texas Penal Code - § 42.08. Abuse of Corpse. which could get him from 180 days to 2 years and up to a $10K fine.

#8 Here's the thing, the prosecutor isn't going to do crap, cause even in Harris county, juries will either no bill or deliver a not guilty verdict. Many people here feel that the moment that guy walked in with a gun to rob the place, he forfeited everything and whatever he got is just desserts. It makes the Lefty DA's froth at the mouth but they would rather not charge than wind up with a loss.
