#3 Think its time to re-do the ending of Red October, when the American officers are on Red October's bridge.

But instead of the cook firing on the officers, its Alec Baldwin, and the cook is sent to track Alec down.

Or make the cook look like a movie famous attorney or bounty hunter or something. Maybe switchout Warren Beatty's Dick Tracy for Ryan the whole movie; that is Alec Baldwin as the cook passing by Ramius' quarters at the beginning.
