#7 Fascinating consideration for the Embassy EXFIL is the proximite to the Blue Nile. The airport is reportedly out of commission and the Persian Gulf looks on goggle maps to be about 399 nm from Khartoum. So an amphibious EXFIL force could replicate the attempt to extract Gordon and history would repeat itself after a fashion, hopefully with a better outcome since the Mahdi is long gone.
