#2 The GOP sees Trump as unelectable, something I agree with. They want him out but they want someone else to do it.

#3 The GOP see Trump as unmanageable. The donors want a return on their investment and Trump is not beholden to anyone.

#4 I see the GOP as indifferent to my most pressing concerns about the direction of the country and the integrity of our elections.

#5 There shouldn't be anybody within 500 miles that is surprised by this.

Fixed it.

#8 The GOP sees Trump as unelectable, something I agree with. They want him out but they want someone else to do it.

If he is so unelectable why not let the voters decide?

#9 ^ Right.

#10 The honourable senators know he will do his best to work with them if elected, as he did before. So there is no serious downside to their lack of support at this stage — and only a third of them are up for reelection in 2024. In the House, meanwhile, they all will face the voters next year, and many of them are recent arrivals who slid in on President Trump’s coattails. They know what their voters expect from them.

#11 I doubt that Trump can be beat in an honest election.

#13 He dropped the mask on the floor and it shattered into a million pieces.

#14 When you have a choice between turning on your own or supporting criminal behavior, the easiest choice is to do nothing.

#15 If you listen closely, you'll hear their heads collectively explode this and next week as the polls will show no jump in the public's excitement about the GOPe preferred candidate. The GOPe will not be able to comprehend how few, if any, have dropped their support for Trump. That's what they were hedging on.

2024 is not going to go the Establishment's way.

#16 Surprised?

They supported Hillary Clinton in '16. And Biden in '20.

#17 The usual stuff, He's unelectable, the polls show he cant win. But alas, he is the leading GOP candidate, Up 20 points over Biden, etc...

#18 People in my neighborhood are flying their American flag upside down. I suppose it has something to do with Trump's indictment.

#19 Even Bernie Sanders has been a victim, so what does that tell ya about the Dems/Uniparty?

#20 Here's an idea: They go through the motions of this Trump indictment....Dem is "elected" president in 2024...Trump gets magically pardoned and can spend the money Pfizer gave him for his 2016 inauguration bash if there are a few shekels left over.
