TRADOC and USMA? WTF? Perhaps Maria and Jessica had other axes to grind. An Article-32 investigation into their 'year long conduct' (and potential co-conspirators) is obviously warranted, but will likely never happen.

#3 Article 88 of the UCMJ prohibits officers from using "contemptuous words" against the President, Vice President, and a variety of other officials. "Service members convicted of an Article 88 violation face a maximum punishment of dismissal, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and 1 year of forced confinement."

#5 M. Murcek, it only applies to officials currently in office. So if Milley said something contemptuous about Trump after Trump had left office, it wouldn't count.
BTW, from what I understand, Article 88 also applies to regular RETIRED officers - in theory they can be recalled to active duty and court martialed. For some reason, it doesn't seem to apply to retired reserve officers, so I can say anything I want about Biden, Harris, and all the other idiots in command.

#7 My experience is that officers are outranked by Congressmen. If it was whistle-blowing, the unofficial investigators can be blocked from promotion.
