I'm not a lawyer, but that seems like a reason for a mistrial. Or a directed verdict.

#7 Mr. Ngo was plain vanilla left of center until he went into town to see what the Antifa protests were all about. He only became conservative after they repeatedly physically attacked him, as I recall the progression.
