#1 The northern part of Klishiivka abuts against a Russian defensive built into a railroad embankment. That makes it easy for Russians to infiltrate into Klishiivka.

In Andriivka, the Ukrainians waited until they cleared the Russian RR defensive line abutting the village before entering it in force.

Still the Ukrainians make it known that Russians are not welcome in Klishiivka.

#2 Every day I read this section of Rantburg and it's always the same damn thing: attack and counter attack with dead bodies strewn all over the field but nobody's going anywhere. It's World War I in muddy trenches all over again.
