#5 Of course you love artillery best, Grom. ;-) I don’t disagree — quantity having a quality all it’s own, as ‘tis said, and there are absolutely times when expensive precision is not the way to go.

But I would like to again point out that only a few years ago the Russian hooligan in the tank song was partying and training with Ukrainian hooligans — all of them white supremacists together, except for the ones from both nations who called themselves neo-Nazi — in St. Petersburg under the benevolent eye of the FSB.

Mind you, I do support Russia vs. Ukraine - but that's for a very practical reason: In monopolar world Israel is an embarrassment to Washington DC. In multipolar world a valuable asset.

Don't take my word for it, look at the difference in USG attitudes between the current & the previous Israel-Gaza clashes.
