#1 To expel the Sudan military from El Fasher is to signal the end of Khartoum control over the huge North Darfur state. It would then result in a real civil war as the African Muslims would seek revenge on the state's large Arab cattle and camel nomad populations (especially the Rizayqat and Misseriya) who have for decades used the Sudan military as a vicious club with which to attack the Africans.
