#8 ...Let me ask if this thinking makes any sense to anyone but me: this decision actually puts Willis in a tight spot. this is why:

1) She can fire her main squeeze, and if she does that both the gravy and sugar trains stop. He ain't gonna be happy, and he might be unhappy enough to start talking about things Willis would rather he didn't.

2) She can resign and choose the Man over the Mission...but then there's a really good possibility that this whole thing gets dumped and she loses her impending Godhood.

He also said her conflict of interest warranted her dismissal he was giving her the choice of leaving the case or cutting ties with Nathan. He is letting her pick the punishment. Spineless weasel.
