...Well, Houthis claim a lot of things. If we just had the stones to lay down an airstrike when one of the little bastards pops their heads up to scream (and we can do it) it might stop and PDQ at that.

However, Biden's stupid rhetoric about civilian casualties re the IDF makes it very difficult for him to order the kind of devastating strike that is needed to convince the Houthis to desist.

From the viewpoint of violent desert tribesmen, which is to say an Islamic perspective, talking about something is the same as doing it. #8 Sal Mercogliano says that the Iranian spy ship left the area a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it was warned off or we agreed to move the carrier out in a negotiation.
