#2 Johnson appears to not have the fortitude requisite to what we need for speaker. Like the drunk guy in Texas that lasted so long, I can’t discern a process that removes him and replaces him with someone better.

#6 The problem is that the job requires someone who knows how to wheel and deal, and knows all the pressure points of the various parties — a closer. So no matter how wonderful the young guys and the new guys coming in for the next session might be, they won’t be able to do what is an entirely thankless job. I suspect that ot be successful it takes at least 5-10 years of orienting and observing.

The Constitution defines treason as:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
