#3 @2 Unlikely without more assets. A Marine reinforced battalion, the supporting aircraft of an amphibious ready group and three destroyers isn't enough invade Venezuela. Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands appear to be the closet US controlled airfields. Would need an aircraft carrier and control of an airport in Venezuela to even begin considering an invasion.
