Hekmatyar: India-Afghanistan to Form a Militia
|
[KhaamaPress] Hezb-e-Islami leader says with the support of India, Afghanistan intends to create a militia group.
In a Friday prayer sermon, Hekmatyar stated, that the Afghan government is taking stands against the process and is taking steps that is dangerous for Afghanistan’s consequences.
He added, India opposes the grinding of the peace processor in relation to Pakistain and wants to form a Militia group with the Afghan government.
The Hezb-e-Islami leader also said that efforts are ongoing in the Northern parts of Afghanistan for the formation of the Militia group, he added the Afghan government is creating obstacles in regards to the grinding of the peace processor, but "Taliban

According to local media reports, Hekmatyar participated in a webinar hosted by the government of Pakistain last week and spoke abut the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Hekmatyar said India should "learn a lesson from the Afghan jehad" and the only solution to the Kashmir issue is to give Kashmiris the right to self-determination, according to Hindustan Times.
Reacting to Hekmatyar’s presence in the even, Anurag Srivastava, a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs of India, said "We have seen the media reports of the participation of the former UN-designated terrorist in an event organised by the government of Pakistain."
""This is nothing new. Pakistain not only harbours terror outfits but also encourages them. We hope that such participation in public events by a former UN-designated terrorist would not go unnoticed," Srivastava added.
According to reports, Mahathir Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia also participated in the even.
