[ToloNews] Saif-ul-Islam Khyber, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, told TOLOnews that 4,500 enforcers (Mohtasib) are actively working across the country to prevent immoral acts.
The spokesperson also mentioned that the enforcers are obligated to treat people kindly and avoid inappropriate behavior.
Khyber stated: "Women who were previously deprived of their inheritance and other rights have had these rights restored through the efforts of the enforcers. Additionally, the immoral acts that used to take place in society, and still occur, have been significantly curbed by the enforcers, making their work 100% effective."
According to the spokesperson, enforcers must first apply God's commandments to themselves before imposing them on others.
Saif-ul-Islam Khyber added: "An enforcer must have good character, and his behavior must be exemplary, so that through his words, people can quickly recognize their mistakes."

several religious scholars consider the work of the enforcers crucial for improving society and emphasize that they should focus on preventing immoral acts.
Mohammad Mubarez, a religious scholar, told TOLOnews: "It is necessary for preachers to eliminate the misfortunes of society and present the positive aspects within the framework of Sharia to the people."
Sangeen Qaderi, another religious scholar, said: "to Allah (God), human dignity is more important than anything, and during preaching, people's dignity must not be compromised. People should be guided through good morals."
Previously, the Ministry of Vice and Virtue announced that its enforcers had prevented nearly 5,000 forced marriages across the country.
