Sudan's military rejects civilian transition, vows to punish RSF backers
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
’s Assistant Army Commander, Yasser al-Atta, reiterated the military’s stance on Saturday, refusing to relinquish power to civilians until elections are organized. He also vowed to hold accountable those perceived as supporting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) during the ongoing conflict.

Al-Atta spoke to a delegation from the National Forces Coordination, a newly formed alliance led by Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council Malik Agar. This coalition is expected to sign a political declaration with the army soon. The army and its allies have accused the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) coalition of being the RSF’s political base, a charge the FFC has consistently denied.

Addressing the National Forces Coordination leaders at an Omdurman military base, al-Atta declared, "The army will not cede power to civilian forces without elections. During the transitional period, the head of state will be the armed forces commander."

He further threatened accountability for those deemed to have supported the RSF. "Any agent or traitor will be treated like the Janjaweed (a notorious militia accused of war crimes) because they support them," he stated. "Their status, name, or popularity won’t matter."

Al-Atta revealed that at the war’s outset, he requested leaders outside the FFC to influence the FFC Central Council faction to change their minds about the war. "However,
there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly...
" he added, "the time for discussion is over. Justice will be served according to the law."

Since the overthrow of al-Bashir’s regime, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereign Council, has repeatedly advocated for continued military rule with a technocratic cabinet until general elections are held.

Al-Atta’s remarks sparked outrage among FFC leaders, who condemned the targeted language. Yasir Arman and Khalid Omer Youssif, in separate statements, interpreted al-Atta’s words as revealing the true motive for the war: the military’s complete power restoration and the sidelining of civilian forces.

Arman called for an immediate focus on ceasefire efforts, prioritizing peacemaking without linking it to the political process at this stage. He emphasized the need for active civilian and FFC involvement, contrasting it with the past isolated negotiations held in Manama and Jeddah.

Similarly, Khalid Omer Youssif stressed that the war aims to extinguish hopes for a democratic civilian transition.

Niger terminates military agreement allowing US military presence in the country
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[RIA] The Niger military in power has terminated the military agreement with the United States, which allows American units to remain on the territory of this African country, Reuters reports, citing the official representative of the military transitional government of Niger, Amadou Abdraman.
A thousand thank you's Double-A. The American taxpayer enthusiastically applauds your decision.
"Niger's ruling military junta has revoked a military agreement with the United States that allows U.S. military and Department of Defense civilian personnel to remain in the country, effective immediately," the agency said in a statement.

Reuters did not report the reasons for this decision.

Niger's military announced on national television at the end of July that President Mohamed Bazoum had been removed from power. The military, led by the commander of the presidential guard, General Abdurakhman Tchiani, who took power in the country, subsequently denounced the military agreements with France.

Britain
Report: UK group probed for urging Muslim civil servants to spread anti-Israel views
[IsraelTimes] Civil Service Moslem Network suspended by deputy PM pending findings; its webinars found to portray Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
war as fight between ’good’ Hamas
...a regional Iranian catspaw,...
and ’evil’ Israel, use antisemitic tropes.

A British network that represents and supports Moslem civil servants was suspended by the government pending an investigation, after it was accused of trying to influence members to force the United Kingdom to change its stance on the Israel-Hamas war while spreading antisemitic tropes, The Times of London reported Friday.

The Civil Service Moslem Network (CSMN) hosted a series of webinars in which an unnamed official reportedly described the war in Gaza as a "fight between good and evil," portraying Israel as the latter and Hamas as the former.

The official spoke at several webinars since October 7, and several civil servants who attended shared memos from the meetings with The Times, saying they were concerned by the content of the talks.

Leaning on the antisemitic trope that Jews and Israel control the world, the official reportedly told hundreds of civil servants that the "Israel lobby" had an "insidious influence" on British politics. He provided tips and directions on how to defy the government’s policies while avoiding disciplinary action, such as joining a union.

The participants were reportedly advised to use conversations about mental health in the workplace as a way to advocate for anti-Israel positions, for example, recounting footage of the destruction in Gaza during check-ins with management.

"People know who’s responsible for that. You don’t have to say, ’I condemn this people, this nation-state, who’s done this.’ People know," one of the seminar’s organizers was quoted as saying.

"If you want to say that, in a team meeting, ’sorry if I’m not with it today, because I just saw this,’ or ’this is really getting to me.’ Then you’re reaching your team, you’re reaching your manager, and you’re raising your voice still. You’re not doing it recklessly. You’re doing it from a mental health perspective because that’s the lens you want to approach it from, a wellbeing perspective, right?" the organizer added, according to the report.

The Times also said he referenced a lecture given by anti-Israel rapper Lowkey, in which the musician claimed that the US and UK were more involved in the war in Gaza than the public knew, but that it was being covered up by the media.

Civil servants attending the webinars were reportedly encouraged to use apps and websites to help them boycott Israeli brands and companies that have expressed support for Israel like Marks & Spencer, McDonald’s and Starbucks.

They were told to complain anytime their departments published statements that could be interpreted as biased or "haven’t even mentioned Gaza or Paleostine or whatever," and that "it would be fine" if they were arrested at pro-Paleostinian demonstrations. An organizer argued that their clearance would not be withdrawn as long as they weren’t waving Hamas banners, according to The Times.

After being made aware of the allegations on Friday, British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden ordered the CSMN’s immediate suspension pending an investigation.

"I am disgusted by these allegations, which represent a breach of the trust given to this organization and a betrayal of hard-working, diligent Moslem civil servants who wouldn’t dream of engaging in this sort of disturbing political activism," he told The Times.

A spokesperson for the government told the newspaper in response that "all civil servants are required to obey the civil service code at all times, including in any staff network activity."

"These reported comments are deeply disturbing and totally unacceptable and in no way represent the views of Moslems across the civil service."

The spokesperson added that the concerns were shared by the CSMN and that the government would not hesitate to take "further action including disciplinary measures" if deemed necessary after the investigation is completed.

Pro-Palestinian activists target dozens of British MPs
[IsraelNationalNews] A counter-extremism dossier reveals nearly 40 instances of intimidation against elected officials by pro-Palestinian activists in what is being called a 'litany of menace.'

Pro-Palestinian activists targeted British MPs and councilors with intimidatory tactics at least 38 times between January 1st and March 15th, The Telegraph reported on Saturday, citing a dossier compiled by a counter-extremism analyst.

The analysis revealed what it called a “litany of menace” since the start of the year, involving elected representatives experiencing verbal abuse, intimidation, and disruptive protests related to the Israel-Hamas war.

According to the report, while politicians from both main political parties have been targeted, the data shows that Labour has endured the brunt of the protests.
Labourites are more likely to cave to such tactics.
The report found that several incidents involved the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) or local affiliates.

John Zak Woodcock, Baron Walney, the Government’s independent adviser on political violence and disruption, responded to the dossier: “This litany of menace highlights a clear pattern of intimidation of elected representatives by pro-Palestine activists.

“Storming council chambers and haranguing MPs has nothing to do with changing people’s minds. It’s about trying to bully and threaten them into submission.

“If this was protesters with the St George’s flag hijacking council meetings for a Right-wing cause that had nothing to do with local government, everyone would rightly demand action. So it’s time for all mainstream parties to stand up for their people against this thuggery and work to cut funding and support for organizations like the PSC who facilitate it.”

A Home Office spokesman commented on the report: “It is totally unacceptable that a tiny minority seek to intimidate democratically elected representatives and impose their views.

“Protests should never take place at an elected representative’s home address or seek to intimidate people at democratic venues and prevent people from entering. This is exactly why we brought in tough new powers and record funding to ensure the police can act swiftly to prevent disruption and protect our democracy.”

Last month, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak remarked that “there is a growing consensus that mob rule is replacing democratic rule. And we’ve got to collectively, all of us, change that urgently,” and added: “We simply cannot allow this pattern of increasingly violent and intimidatory behavior which is, as far as anyone can see, intended to shout down free debate and stop elected representatives doing their job. That is simply undemocratic.”

The Prime Minister's comments came as the Home Office announced 31 million pounds in funding to increase security for MPs and other politicians.

The Telegraph reported that on Friday, Chi Onwurah (Labour, Newcastle upon Tyne Central), the shadow science minister, required police presence at a meeting with constituents.

Responding on social media to a protester who accused her of being a “coward” for getting a police escort out of the meeting, Onwurah wrote: “The police came because your protest was becoming aggressive, banging on the library walls and hurling abuse, then running around the building, attacking my staff member’s car and jumping in front of traffic.”

In another incident reported by the newspaper, Labour Chairman Sir Keir Starmer and David Lammy, the Shadow Foreign Secretary, were forced to abandon an event in Tottenham, northern London, after protesters picketed the venue.

One placard photographed at the event read: “Lammy supports racist killings” while another said: “Genocidal Starmer Not Welcome In Tottenham”.

Caribbean-Latin America
Plan to install new leaders in Haiti appears to crumble
[APNEWS] A proposal to install new leadership in Haiti appeared to be crumbling Wednesday as some political parties rejected the plan to create a presidential council that would manage the transition.
Unexpectedly.
The panel would be responsible for selecting an interim prime minister and a council of ministers that would attempt to chart a new path for the Caribbean country that has been overrun by gangs. The violence has closed schools and businesses and disrupted daily life across Haiti.

Jean Charles Moïse, an ex-senator and presidential candidate who has teamed up with former rebel leader Guy Philippe, held a news conference Wednesday to announce his rejection of the proposed council backed by the international community.

Moïse insisted that a three-person presidential council he recently created with Philippe and a Haitian judge should be implemented.

"We are not going to negotiate it," he said in a loud voice as he wiped his forehead with a handkerchief. "We have to make them understand."

Rs20bn defamation suit filed by ex-CJP against Imran Khan dismissed
[GEO.TV] A local court in Islamabad Saturday dismissed a Rs20 billion defamation lawsuit filed against Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf
...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations....
(PTI) founder Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders...
by former chief justice of Pakistain Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry after almost 10 years.

In July 2014, the former CJP sent a defamation notice worth Rs20 billion to Khan for accusing him of rigging in the 2013 general election.

Chaudhry’s lawyers had warned that legal proceedings would be initiated against Khan if he failed to apologise for the allegations he had levelled earlier against their client.

However,
it's easy to be generous with someone else's money...
the former top judge formally filed the lawsuit against the PTI founder in the court of district and sessions judge in the federal capital in January 2015.

In his lawsuit, the former CJP stated that the PTI founder used derogatory remarks against him in his statement published on June 27, 2014. It further claimed that Khan levelled baseless and fabricated
Tut tut, my good man! Made up out of whole cloth, I assure you, including the pictures and the audio!
allegations against the judiciary.

After prolonged proceedings, the court dismissed the lawsuit against Khan, declaring the defamation notice as time-barred.

In her verdict, Additional District Judge Islamabad-West Haseena Saqlain said that the complaint stands rejected having been filed beyond the limitation period stipulated under Section 12 of the Ordinance 2002.

The judge noted that according to the plaintiff’s claim, Khan used derogatory remarks against Chaudhry on June 27, 2014. The complainant moved the court on January 20, 2015, after a span of six months and 24 days.

"The presumption is now that the plaintiff was aware of the alleged defamatory remarks on the date of publication. Consequently, the filing the instant suit beyond the limitation period stipulated under Section 12 of the Defamation Ordinance 2002 is not permissible...," read the verdict.

"The best available current advice from agencies and the Australian government lawyers is that UNRWA is not a terrorist organization, and that existing additional safeguards sufficiently protect Australian taxpayer funding," Wong says, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

She says Canberra is working on signing a new funding agreement with UNRWA, after Israel provided information that led Australia to conclude it could resume contributing some $6 million to the aid agency.

Kamala Harris' Stepdaughter Raises Money for UN Agency Whose Staff Aided Hamas on October 7
[Red State] Ella Emhoff, stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris, has been raising funds for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The news comes after it was revealed that the agency was employing Hamas operatives who helped the terrorist group carry out its surprise attack against Israel on October 7.
The unhappy young clothing designer never met a fashionably edgy idea she didn’t like. This particular one is how she shows that she cares.
The revelation has caused a stir as many nations stopped funding the agency after its role in the October 7 slaughter was exposed.

Emhoff leveraged her platform in Instagram to solicit donations for the UNRWA, which has brought the agency’s malfeasance back into the spotlight.

Kamala Harris’s stepdaughter has called for donations to a UN agency whose workers were accused by Israel of participating in the Oct 7 terror attacks.

Ella Emhoff, 24, posted a link on her Instagram page raising money for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) — a branch of the UN that deals with refugees in Palestine.

Ms Emhoff is the daughter of Douglas Emhoff, who is married to the US vice president.

The US and other Western countries have suspended donations to UNRWA after Israel accused the agency of employing workers who participated in the Hamas terror attacks.

Israeli officials claimed that more than 10 per cent of the agency’s workers were members of Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad — two of the groups that have launched attacks on Israel in the last five months.

A dossier handed to the US government by Israel in January alleged that UNRWA employees had kidnapped a woman, while another was accused of taking part in a massacre at an Israeli kibbutz where 97 people died.

In January, the UNRWA’s alliance with Hamas was revealed to the world. Reports outlined the extent to which the agency was linked with the terrorist group.

The airdrops by a US Air Force C-130 aircraft and a Royal Jordanian Air Force C-130 aircraft came as the main UN agency working in the enclave said that one in three children under age two is acutely malnourished. It warned of looming famine.

US Central Command called the airdrops "part of a sustained effort and we continue to plan follow-on aerial deliveries."

’s devastating October 7 onslaught, signed by the terror group’s number three and deputy commander of Hamas’s military wing, Marwan Issa.

The IDF on Monday confirmed that it had targeted Issa in a strike on central Gaza’s Nuseirat last week, and security officials are said to believe he was killed, though neither Israel nor Hamas have officially confirmed his death.

According to the documents, Hamas’s plan was to be carried out by 1,500-1,800 gunnies of the elite Nukhba force, targeting 46 communities and bases — among them, a base serving the military intelligence Unit 8200 and the air force base at Hatzerim in southern Israel.

The 3,000 Hamas-led gunnies that infiltrated on October 7 did not manage to arrive at those sensitive bases.

According to Asharq al-Awsat, cited by the Ynet news site, Issa "was maimed, but his fate is unclear."

Issa serves as the deputy of Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas’s military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. Together with Hamas’s leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, they are believed to have criminal masterminded the group’s October 7 massacre in southern Israel that triggered the war.

Security officials reportedly told ministers at Friday’s security cabinet meeting that all signs indicate Issa was killed in the strike. However,

the army warned that the matter had not yet been fully verified while Hamas still refrained from confirming or denying Issa is dead.

Israel said to complain of slowdown in US arms deliveries amid growing rift
[IsraelTimes] US officials deny assertion by senior Israeli source that frequency of shipments slowed since start of war, say there’s no deliberate delay and policies remain unchanged

The United States has slowed the pace of its military aid to Israel compared to the beginning of the war, according to a report quoting an Israeli official Friday that American officials denied.

As ties between the Biden administration and Israel become increasingly strained over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the unnamed senior Israeli official told ABC News that supply shipments “were coming very fast” when the war erupted after Hamas’s October 7 attack, but “we are now finding that it’s very slow.”

The official said Israel was running out of 155 mm artillery shells and 120 mm tank shells. The official also said that it required sensitive guidance equipment, without elaborating.

According to the official, it was not clear what was causing the slowdown.

The Israel Defense Forces refused to comment on the report.

US officials told the network that there was no deliberate delay in aid shipments and that no policies have changed.

Both Israeli and US officials acknowledged American frustrations with the war and the mounting death toll in Gaza, the report said, but US sources said the White House has not signed off on any decision to leverage military support to pressure Israel to do more to protect civilians.

US officials said that rather than a slowdown, the administration was considering increasing aid to encourage Israel to do more to prevent innocent deaths.

“I’m not gonna get into the timeline for every individual system that’s being provided,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby told ABC when asked for comment. “We continue to support Israel with their self-defense needs. That’s not going to change, and we have been very, very direct about that.”

US officials told Politico earlier in the week that US President Joe Biden would consider placing conditions on future military aid to Israel if its military moves ahead with a planned offensive against the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on Tuesday appeared to deny the report that Biden was mulling such a measure.

“We’re not going to engage in hypotheticals about what comes down the line, and the reports that purport to describe the president’s thinking are uninformed speculation,” Sullivan said, adding that the policy to date has been against restricting Israel’s aid.

Gaps continued to grow in Israel-US ties this week, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Thursday calling for Israel to hold new elections, saying he believed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had “lost his way” and was an obstacle to peace in the region.

It's NOT Dearborn
[IsraelTimes] Iran reportedly pushed US to broker Gaza ceasefire during secret talks in Oman

During recent indirect talks, Iran asked the Biden administration to bring about a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war while the US pressed Tehran to curb attacks by its proxies, according to a New York Times report published Friday.
Back in the New York Times Building (the new offices, after they gqve up the old one as a cost savings measure), they’re frissoning up a storm.
The report offered further details on the January meeting in Oman between the Biden administration’s Middle East czar Brett McGurk and special envoy on Iran Abram Paley, and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, which was first reported by The Financial Times.

In addition to asking Iran to rein in attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels and expressing concerns about its nuclear program, The New York Times said the American officials called for Iranian-backed militias in Iraq and Syria to stop targeting US forces.

Citing US and Iranian officials, the report said Kani in turn relayed an Iranian request for the US to broker a ceasefire in Gaza, without specifying whether this meant a temporary truce or a permanent end to the fighting between Israel and Hamas. Iran is a key sponsor of the Gaza-ruling Palestinian terror group, and its leaders praised the October 7 onslaught that triggered the ongoing war.

Two Iranian officials were quoted saying that the Islamic Republic continued to deny it controls the activities of its proxies, in particular the Houthis, but said it could influence them to bring attacks to a complete stop only after a ceasefire is reached.

Bedouin Israeli said to have joined Hamas in Gaza dies after found unconscious in cell
[IsraelTimes] Prison Service says Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanima was discovered March 12 and taken to hospital; he were tossed into the calaboose when trying to return to Israel after sneaking into enclave in 2016

before being detained while trying to cross back into Israel during the ongoing war, has died in jug, authorities said Saturday.
If this were a movie, a Hamas big turban would have secretly poisoned him years ago, then doled out the antidote weekly in his food. And once Abu Ghanima left Gaza, death was inevitable…
Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanima, 26, was found unconscious in his cell at Eshel Prison on March 12 and taken to hospital, the Israel Prison Service said.

Overnight, the hospital notified the IPS of his death.

Further details were not published due to health privacy concerns.

Abu Ghanima, a resident of Hashem Zana in the northern Negev, was charged last month with serious security offenses and was being held until the end of legal proceedings.

According to the charge sheet, Abu Ghanima snuck into Gaza in July 2016, met up with a Hamas operative, and asked to join the terror group’s military wing.

He was taken to be questioned by Hamas officials, where he revealed to them the locations of IDF bases in southern Israel.

After three months of waiting in the homes of Hamas operatives, Abu Ghanima began military training with Hamas, including advanced training with the terror group’s elite Nukhba force which simulated attacks on Israeli towns and the capture of army posts.

During his time in Gaza, Abu Ghanima carried out various surveillance operations along the border and met with Hamas officials, the indictment said.

The indictment said that in 2021, Hamas placed in durance vile
Please don't kill me!
Abu Ghanima for two years for his "failure to comply with the limitations imposed on him."

Due to IDF strikes near the jail where he was held on December 7, 2023, all of the prisoners were freed.

Three days later, Abu Ghanima attempted to cross back into Israel, where he was detained by IDF troops. He was then taken to be interrogated by the Shin Bet security agency and subsequently charged.

Abu Ghanima was charged with several serious security offenses, including conspiring to aid the enemy in its war against Israel, aiding the enemy in war, providing information to the enemy to harm the security of the state, membership in a terror organization, training for terror purposes, operating weapons for terror purposes and leaving the country illegally.

NGO says 1st aid ship to Gaza is unloaded, supplies being readied for distribution

Strip had finished unloading the first maritime aid shipment, in a test run for a new aid route by sea from Cyprus to help alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the enclave five months into the war between Israel and Hamas
...always the voice of sweet reason...
"All cargo was offloaded and is being readied for distribution in Gaza," World Central Kitchen said in a statement, noting that the aid was "almost 200 tons of food."

The humanitarian effort is intended to mitigate food shortages that have prompted famine warnings in Gaza from the United Nations
...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society...
and aid workers.

WCK is also preparing a second boat of 240 tons of food to set sail from Cyprus, the starting point of a new maritime aid route across the eastern Mediterranean.

"That shipment includes pallets of canned goods and bulk product including beans, carrots, canned tuna, chickpeas, canned corn, parboiled rice, flour, oil and salt," World Central Kitchen said.

"Among the hundreds of tons of aid are pallets of dates, which hold spiritual significance during Ramadan," the NGO said.

The second shipment would also include a forklift and a crane to assist with deliveries, it added.

The humanitarian group said it had "no information to release on when our second boat and the crew ship will be able to embark."

The first shipment arrived in Gaza on a barge towed by a ship on Friday.

Floating on a barge attached by rope to a salvage ship, rough seas appeared to slow down the cargo reaching land, footage posted by a WCK official on social media showed.

WCK constructed a makeshift jetty, which allowed the flat-bottomed barge to approach Gaza’s shallow waters for lack of proper port infrastructure.

The Israel Defense Forces later said that 115 tons of food and water from the barge were offloaded to 12 trucks, which were to be distributed in northern Gaza by WCK.

The IDF said the aid had undergone a "comprehensive security check" before being unloaded.

In a statement, the IDF said the delivery of the aid was being "carried out in coordination and subject to an agreement with the civilian company," adding that "the entry of humanitarian aid does not constitute a violation of the maritime security blockade."

There are few details on how the aid delivery and distribution would work once it is ready to unload in Gaza, with UN relief agencies having described huge obstacles to getting relief supplies to those in need.

Earlier in the week, Israel allowed six aid trucks to enter directly into the north, a step aid groups have long called for.

World Central Kitchen operates 65 kitchens across Gaza and has served 32 million meals from them since the war started, the group said. The aid includes rice, flour, lentils, beans, tuna and canned meat, according to World Central Kitchen spokesperson Linda Roth.

The organization plans to distribute the food in the Strip’s north, the largely devastated target of Israel’s initial offensive in Gaza, which has been mostly cut off by Israeli forces since October.

Up to 300,000 Paleostinians are believed to have remained there despite Israeli evacuation orders. The aid is a tiny fraction of what is required, but the shipment was intended to pave the way for other larger shipments, officials working on the route have said.

The Israel-Hamas war was triggered by Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel in which hard boyz broke through the border, killed some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapped 253 into Gaza.

World Central Kitchen also ran a large operation in Israel in the weeks following October 7, providing meals for Israelis displaced from the northern and southern borders, and delivering food to freed hostages and their families.
