Ebola: the WHO stats show the real story
by anon1

I just went through the WHO stats here. They are now adding up the new cases and deaths every couple of days roughly.

One might expect a systematic and methodical collection of data from a World Health Organisation, especially one that doesn't actually ACT to prevent ebola spreading when it first breaks out.

But they can't even do that.

Firstly - the figures are only methodical for July and most of June. Halfway through June they start taking figures for different time periods in different countries (apples and oranges)

May is quite dodgy and April is so bad I gave up counting.

But for the figures I could consolidate they run thus:

DATE..........NEW CASES..........DEATHS

15-27 July......342..........................116
01-15 July......285..........................139
15-30 June........81............................41
01-15 June........84............................28

This is what "out of control" looks like. They can't track all the people the victims have infected. This is why the airlines are cancelling flights even though WHO still hasn't recommended travel bans and is lying about how contagious it is. You should all be ringing your local newspaper to ask if they can run a story on whether returning missionaries are going to be compulsory quarantined as there isn't enough convalescent blood available to treat the infected with life-saving transfusions.

#3  looking at the numbers, transmissibility (the average number of people infected by a case) looks to be around 1.5 with the measures in place currently. Down from around 2 previously.

1.5 means it will exponentially spread without further measures, and when it exhausts the limited capacity of the current measures it goes back toward 2.

The question I am asking is, how transmissible is this outside tropical Africa?

#5  Its driving me crazy that they are bringing patient zero to the US, not really Ebola patient zero, but for the US he will be.
They are bringing the two here because they have an experimental treatment for them. Great! Frigging great! The CDC said there is little to no risk. Yup, little to nor risk, from the folks that sent the active plague FexEx to another facility. I feel safe. They say it is fluid transfer so its really really hard to get. Then they say the two will be brought over in a special aircraft, in a cocoon. Then transferred in a special vehicle to a state of the art infectious disease ward. All this effort for little to no threat. While in Africa the doctors are in MOP3 and go through full decontamination after, oh ya, and they still caught it! So I looked it up, not wiki but med sites. It is transferred by fluids. A good sneeze will get it there. All the typical, blood, semen etc... It is also in waste, urine and feces. It stays alive in these liquids for an extended period of time, not hours or days but weeks. This means everything will need to be incinerated. Urine could contaminate water supplies, Atlanta recycles and processes all waste. Just one of these little bugs is all it takes.
Then comes the gestation period, 21 days before they show symptoms. Within 21 days every infectious disease doctor will have visited, for their research papers. They will board planes, visit girlfriends, wives, family, etc... I'm not being hysterical here, just real. All of this risk so we can do what? Study them? This just is not right.

#8  I wonder why only one case (the new case did die) showed up in Nigeria only lately (7-24 to 7-27) whereas the other countries have a fairly large number of new cases. What is it about Nigeria that ebola has been slow to take hold?

#3  No harm will come to Brennan I assure you:

Brennan Scrubs Obama's Passport Files

Obama’s top terrorism and intelligence adviser, John O. Brennan, headed a firm that was cited in March for breaching sensitive files in the State Department’s passport office, according to a State Department Inspector General’s report released this past July.

The security breach, first reported by the Washington Times and later confirmed by State Department spokesman Sean McCormack, involved a contract employee of Brennan’s firm, The Analysis Corp., which has earned millions of dollars providing intelligence-related consulting services to federal agencies and private companies.

During a State Department briefing on March 21, 2008, McCormack confirmed that the contractor had accessed the passport files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain, and that the inspector general had launched an investigation.

Sources who tracked the investigation say that the main target of the breach was the Obama passport file, and that the contractor accessed the file in order to "cauterize" the records of potentially embarrassing information. "They looked at the McCain and Clinton files as well to create confusion," one knowledgeable source said. "But this was basically an attempt to cauterize the Obama file."

At the time of the breach, Brennan was working as an unpaid adviser to the Obama campaign.

The passport files include "personally identifiable information such as the applicant’s name, gender, social security number, date and place of birth, and passport number," according to the inspector general report.

The files may contain additional information including "original copies of the associated documents," the report added. Such documents include birth certificates, naturalization certificates, or oaths of allegiance for U.S.-born persons who adopted the citizenship of a foreign country as minors.

The State Department Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued a 104-page report on the breach last July. Although it is stamped "Sensitive but Unclassified," the report was heavily redacted in the version released to the public, with page after page blacked out entirely."em>

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Western people brainwashed over Israel: Analyst
[Iran Press TV] People in Western countries have been extremely brainwashed about Israel's atrocities against Paleostinians in the besieged Gazoo Strip, an analyst writes for Press TV.

"The story of Israel is the story of 'The Ethnic Cleansing of Paleostine.' This story has been hidden by Western 'moral' governments and by a corrupt Western media from Western populations who are now too brainwashed and disinformed to know," Paul Craig Roberts wrote in a column for the Press TV website.

He scoffed at the Western governments' insinuations that "Paleostinians are a threat to Israel," saying, "How is it possible that Paleostinians are locked away into sealed ghettos in the remnants of their own country or into refugee camps in foreign countries?"

Roberts said Israel's ongoing offensive in the Gazoo Strip is the continuation of the Zionist regime's decades-old land grab policy.

"Since the 1940s, Zionists have been stealing Paleostine from the Paleostinians. The majority of Paleostinians have been removed from their homes and their country," he wrote.

He noted that Israel's confinement of the Paleostinians in the "Gazoo ghetto" facilitates Tel Aviv's policy of attacking "from time to time "the civilian population and civilian infrastructure in Gazoo."

"Israel is always the aggressor but always takes the role of the victim," wrote Roberts, noting that Israelis are "evicting the Paleostinians from their properties."

The corpse count from the ongoing Israeli aerial and ground attacks on the war-stricken Gazoo Strip is on the rise. About 1,500 Paleostinians have been killed and over 8,000 injured following 25 days of Israeli aerial and ground assaults on the Gazoo Strip.

#1  For those not in the know, Roberts used to be an economic theorist, who supported supply-side economics in the 80's and produced some decent works until the mid 1990's.

Then something happened to him after the turn of the century. He went all Infowars/AlexJones/LewRockwell conspiracy theorist. Seriously like he lost his mind somewhere around his 65th birthday.

He has since become a nutbag 9/11 truther. He blames much on Israel, and "neocons" and european oligarchs, favored Russian aggression in Georgia and South Osettia (called it American provocation), called the opposition to ShortRound in Iran's elections a few years back "CIA led", and in general had some sort of a fixation involving hating on GW Bush. Also called the war on terror a "hoax" and instead said it was a war on "the Musilim peoples". Oh, and he also has been accused of antisemitism, and absolutely hates Israel.

Just so ya know who he is.

#2  Expert analysts usually have a 'prime' period when they do their best work, and then hopefully lapse into obscurity. If they stay in the public eye, they frequently become comic lunatics,.e.g. Paul Krugman.

#8  If they were "ethnic cleansing", they'd have started at the north end and rolled it up, demolishing all the buildings along the way, and smoothing the rubble into a landfill like area, with C-4 and D9's.

#1  Strangely(?), the Libs seem unaware that, over time, organizations either (1) die or (2) ->evolve<-, becoming better at executing their goals.

Throwing $ and other resources at a threat to bribe them into civilized behavior simply rewards the bad behavior, increasing its metastasis.

A purge is what is required, but who has the stomach to undertake it?

Btw, who benefits from the conflict?

#1  Many in this country realize we have a 5th column working against our best interests. But then again, these elitists think we don't know what our best interests are and that they are the arbiters of our best interests. They can go perform an unnatural act on themselves (or maybe they are accustomed to these acts and find them completely natural to them).
Posted by: JohnQC || 08/02/2014 9:31 Comments || Top||

#2  For them an unnatural act would be to be honest, honorable, and faithful. Supporting their country. Believing in people and not government.

To them all these things are 'unnatural and horrible'.
