All of Bill Ayers buddies now work for Mother Jones.

Pretty remarkable slight of hand. They have managed to demonize an entire class of people who had nothing to do with the attack. As a special bonus they are also claiming that Islam had nothing to do with it.
It's pretty much a 'what color is the sky on your planet' situation.
They can't go home, because they would be put UNDER the dungeon.
Not one state would allow them to be imprisoned there.
If they were put in a Federal prison, some would become a terrorist magnet for a zillion plots and hostage situations seeking their release...maybe Bill Ayers would stage a hunger strike?
No one wants them so they stay where they are unless we can talk the Russians into taking them.

Mr. Quick and I have had our tiffs (on his blog) regarding politics, but in the WoT, he and I are on the same side. The Saudi connection stinks and has for a long, long time.

Here are part I and part II of the Diana West articles on Adbul Rahman al-Harbi.
I'm not sure she connects all the dots, but she sure does nudge them rather closely together.

The article is a bunch of leftist drivel, it even slips in a couple of digs at Christianity.
Of course the article says nary a word about the horrific track record of Moslems toward believers of other religion. I for one am completely fed up with this bull shit of making excuses for terrorism and trotting out every response to that intimidation and terror as something awful.
Just another piece of crap from a useful idiot lefty with no clue or historical understanding of which he writes.
No mention either of the Taliban blowing up those 2,000 year old Buddhist relics in Afghanistan either. I wanted to riot in the streets over that.
Burning a mosque, that's nothing compared to what the Moslems do to Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, and Hebrews.
Good riddance, I hope the monks burn the whole country to the ground.

I feel like a fucking broken record.
BUT...
Britain more-or-less betrayed the Shan and other mountain peoples in Burma by denying them independence from Burma when Burma split off from the British Empire.
This was a gross injustice to people who sided with Britain in the fight against Japan, and who have suffered, for the most part, a slow-motion ethnic cleansing for most of the last half-century.
But now they're shocked, SHOCKED, to find out that the Burmese government is oppressive to ethnic minorities?
This wasn't anything _new_, it's just a different choice of victim than the usual ones.

The ACLU exists in a separate universe that intersects with ours on very rare occasions [that's when the usual sources of funding start to dry up and they need attention/alternate sources to sustain their long term agenda].
Yeah, because last week somebody pointed out that the list was solid muslims. So they drag up an old hippie terrorist bomber from the 70s and add her in. Theyve known for 30 years exactly where she is too.

That they know where she is and that she's an old hippie doesn't change the fact that she should be on the list. She is indeed a terrorist. Lest it be forgotten, she gunned down a New Jersey police officer in cold blood during a routine traffic stop.
If we had a CIA with any stones they would pinch her, fly her back to the US, truss her and dump her on the front steps of a US federal courthouse with a big sign attached.

CIA clandestine operations and invasions of Cuba don't enjoy a very good track record.

A drone overhead should be in her future. Don't count on that from Obama, Holder and his camp followers in DOJ, though. They'd say "the police acted stupidly"

Daily Currant source is a satire site. The incident, had it actually happened, would've been great

Figured as much - if this had really happened, health inspectors would be there right now, shut down within the hour and NYC Dept. of Finance & Taxation next week, and everyone knows it.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
