Cheating killed his political career, destroyed his reputation and left his marriage hanging by a thread - but John Edwards has done IT again! The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that the philandering ex-senator embarked on a "sex-and-booze bender" after what appeared to be a marriage-ending blowout fight with his cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth.
While still publicly not admitting paternity of his love child - who turns 2 in February - the disgraced former presidential candidate shocked eyewitnesses by recently spending several consecutive nights trawling bars in search of women.
Before booting her shameless husband from their home after Christmas, Elizabeth screamed at John that she was "finally signing" the divorce papers she had her lawyers draw up last year during a previous battle over his relationship with Rielle Hunter, the mother of his baby.
Edwards fled to the couple's vacation home on Figure Eight Island near Wilmington, N.C. - and attempted to bed a female bartender as well as bar patrons young enough to be his daughter, say shocked witnesses.
In a bombshell exclusive interview with The ENQUIRER, bartender Stephanie Breshears revealed that Edwards repeatedly tried to get her to go back to his house for sex. The 34-year-old divorced mother-of-two said Edwards hit on her "for four consecutive nights" at the local Kornerstone Bistro, where she works.
"I think he's scum," Stephanie told The ENQUIRER. "He was definitely looking to pick up women when he came in here - and he wanted me to go back to his house."
Stephanie revealed she first met Edwards last August when he arrived at the Kornerstone, five miles from his vacation home, with wife Elizabeth and the couple's 27-year-old daughter Cate.
"But that night was very busy, and I didn't have a lot of time to socialize," said the pretty bartender. "I didn't see any of them again until John Edwards came in on Dec. 30 - the first of four consecutive nights.
"He said he'd been thinking about me since he and his wife were in last summer. He said I had run through his mind 'time and time' again. He said I was 'attractive.'
"He asked what I was doing after work and I told him I had plans with friends. But he told me he was staying on Figure Eight Island, and that I should join him."
Incredibly, just minutes after giving Stephanie his phone number, Edwards started flirting with another woman - right in front of Stephanie.
"He told her he was 'separated, soon to be divorced,'" the sexy bartender divulged.

I think these stories are bullshit. C'mon? Silky Pony hitting on women? Who next? Lindsay Graham?

What a moroon. Next time he should just order the K'Stones Tiramisu "Pick Me Up" - Italian ladyfingers soaked in espresso, layered with mascarpone custard, and topped with cocoa powder, call it a day and head back to the phueching island.
At this rate, Year 2010 should be a helluva year for that pesky LEFT FIELD, + also tasty POPCORN FUTURES - GOOD THING "THE DONALD" [Trump] WASN'T WID IVANA WHEN SHE GOT ESCORTED OFF THE PLANE!?

Barnicle's not a liberal. He's a poor man's print version of O'Reilly. Made a career out of calling Teddy K "Fat Boy" in the Boston Herald for a quarter century.

Coakley is a clueless twit. She said "There are no terrorists in Afghanistan." Then she refused to answer any questions about her comment when asked by a reporter.

mojo, if the reporter had fought back, he probably would have been arrestedd for assault on a state official. After all the commonwealth Attorney General was right there to witness it.

another choice catch:
Meehan (the beater) is an Obama nominee to the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Said Governors should not be beating reporters doing legitimate reporting - asking questions - should they? Under the bus, Meehan, asshole

Yes, witnessed and was caught on film witnessing. In the finest traditions of her party however, she has now DENIED SEEING ANYTHING!

She hasn't done a thing right since all her big time friends from the party and DC and the SEIU have shown up to tell her how to do things right.
But I'll bet dinner in DC was...lucrative.
Rasmussen is out with a new survey of 500 likely Nevada voters showing Senator Harry Reid's already low numbers sinking even further against his two most likely Republican opponents in November.
Reid can muster just 36% against either candidate and now trails Sue Lowden by 12 points and Danny Tarkanian by 14:
Lowden (R) 48 (-1 vs. last poll December 9)
Reid (D) 36 (-7)
Tarkanian (R) 50 (+1)
Reid (D) 36 (-7)
Equally as bad for Reid: 47% of Nevada voters now have a "very unfavorable" opinion of him, while less than half that number (23%) view him "very favorably."
Forty-five percent "strongly oppose" the health care reform Reid is currently shepharding through the Senate, while another 9% "somewhat oppose" it. Twenty-one percent "strongly favor" the bill and 18% "somewhat favor" it.
The poll was conducted on Monday, January 11 - just days after news reports broke about Reid's controversial comments regarding President Obama. It's unclear what effect those statements might have had on his numbers, but 55% of those surveyed said they had been following the story "very closely" with another 24% saying they were following the story "somewhat closely."
Lastly, President Obama's job approval in Nevada is at 49%. Of the 51% who disapprove of the job Obama is doing, 41% say they "strongly disapprove."
