Article sez the pic & video were first posted by a "journalist" called Charlie LeDuff. While I think Conyers is a race-hustling dirtbag pol who probably belongs in a jail cell, LeDuff's also a prime scumbag, even by MSM standards.

Nato is a military mafia, the war in Afghanistan is genocidal and US President Barack Obama deserves the prize for the best snake charmer who ever lived, Cubas Fidel Castro said Monday.
In an article published in response to the Western alliances weekend summit in Portugal, the former Cuban leader called Nato an aggressive institution that ignored billions of persons suffering from poverty, underdevelopment, shortages of food, housing, health, education and jobs.
Castro, 84, communisms most visible living figure, led Cuba from the 1959 Revolution until he stepped down for health reasons in 2006, handing over the presidency to his brother Raul.
Castro called Nato a bird of prey sitting in the lap of the Yankee empire, that was used by the United States to wage the genocidal Afghanistan war.
He brushed off ambitious plans unveiled at the Lisbon summit that would have Western leaders press Kabul to take over security by 2014, predicting they would eventually hand over power to the Afghan resistance, in defeat.
The United States is going through a difficult phase as the result of its war exploits and using its enormous media resources to maintain, dupe and confuse world public opinion, Castro said.
Obama already admitted that his promise to withdraw US soldiers from Afghanistan may be postponed After the Nobel Prize, we would have to award him with the prize for the best snake charmer that has ever existed.

Castro, 84, dynastic communism's second most visible living figure after Kim Jong Il, destroyed the Cuban economy from the 1959 Revolution until he stepped down for health reasons in 2006, nepotistically handing over the crown to his brother Raul.

Looks like Fidel's just another true believer with a case of buyer's remorse. Get in line with the home grown commies, El Jefe. Just be aware that it's a long one...

Fidel Castro broke his five-week silence to praise US President Barack Obama as a man who is absolutely sincere. But the former Cuban President added that despite noble intentions, there are still many questions to answer.
His remarks were disclosed by Cristina Fernandez, Argentinas President, who met the former Cuban leader during a four-day visit to the communist island. Mrs Fernandez said: Fidel believes in Obama. He told me he had followed the inauguration of Barack Obama very closely, that he had watched the inauguration on television all day. He had a very good perception of President Obama.
That was the reply from Stephen Duckett, Alberta's top Health Services official when reporters asked him about the Province's failing health care system. In case you were unaware, Canada's single payer health care system is drowning in red ink and wait lines.

The alternate health care is growing stronger in Canada. Doctors I understand are contracting with individuals. This would be for the ones able to pay. They are trying to put the care back in health. Government interference will impede service.
They should be compensated for the years of education and continuing education. License fees, insurance and hospital affiliation.

Some of the staff were good, however it was obvious:
Bureaucracy was hampering
The processes were there but not right.
The flow through the building was all wrong
The queues were too long
There were too few staff
The Organisation wasn't there.
Noone was on the ground seeing the big picture, everyone was just fire-fighting.
Exactly what you'd expect seeing the incentives/structure. No wonder it kills so many. My initial contact with the first-line nearly killed me.
