Al-Qahuom mentioned that these ships and the American and British military presence in the Red Sea are within the range of the Yemeni Armed Forces’ bank of targets. In response, Yemen has expanded its military operations.

Re #2: As I understand the Geneva Convention, it is a war crime to use human shields, to place weapons in hospitals, schools and mosques. If an attacker attacks these people/sites, it is not the attacker who is the war criminal. It is the side that used human shields, etc.
