“At 16:28 Moscow time, an M1.0 flare lasting 42 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range. The outbreak was accompanied by a disruption in HF radio communications. At 01:34 Moscow time, an X6.4/3B flare lasting 35 minutes was detected in the X-ray range,” the institute said in a statement.
