According to a statement released by MoI, a member of the security forces who had misbehaved with a resident of the city while being in possession of a police vehicle and security uniform, has been identified and arrested.
The statement did not disclose further information regarding the identity of the detained individual and to which to which specific security department he belongs to.
This comes as the acting minister of interior Amrullah Saleh had earlier promised to reform and rehabilitate the image of the security personnel, specifically the National Police Forces and to bridge the gap between the police forces and the general public.
In his inaugural speech after assuming the charge of the ministry of interior, Saleh had said the ministry of interior is a key governmental institution between the people and government, emphasizing that he would step up efforts to rehabilitate the image of the police forces and create an environment of hope among the people.

[Al Jazeera] Fifteen people suspected of links to the murder of two Scandinavian women in the Atlas Mountains have appeared before a judge in Morocco.
The attorney general's office in Rabat said in a statement on Sunday that the prosecution requested the investigation of the suspects for "setting up a gang to prepare and commit terrorist acts, premeditated attacks on life and advocating for terrorism".
The statement said seven other detainees would be referred to the prosecution in the coming days.
It was unclear whether the suspects, who were brought to the Court of First Instance in Sale, near Rabat, in a convoy of four police vans amid tight security, included a Swiss-Spanish man placed in durance vile ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... in Marrakech on Saturday.

Moroccan authorities have arrested about 20 people over their alleged links to the double murder, labelled a "terrorist" act by Rabat.

The security cooperation between the Paleostinian Authority and Israel hangs in balance due to a new US legislation, which is expected to take effect next month, that threatens to bankrupt the government in Ramallah and collapse its security apparatus.
The Anti-Terrorism Clarification Act, which was signed into law by President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... back in October and recently approved by the US Congress, would allow US authorities to seize assets from any foreign "terrorist entity" that receives financial aid from the American government.The law would also permit any US citizen to sue the PA for its involvement in terror activity and be compensated by the money received through financial aid.
In order to avoid being subjected to controversial lawsuits, the PA’s leadership might reject any kind of financial aid from the Trump administration, including the funds meant to preserve the coordination between the PA and Israeli security forces in the West Bank.
As a result the PA and its security forces might themselves destitute, which would not only end the cooperation with Israel but also significantly strengthen Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbung millipede, in the West Bank and unleash a wave of terror attacks.
The legislation was initiated by those who unsuccessfully attempted to sue the PA for its involvement in the terror attacks during the second intifada, when Yasser Arafat was still at the helm of the Paleostinian government.
The security apparatus in Ramallah is the only area still eligible for US financial assistance‐believed to be in the region of $61 million annually‐after earlier this year the State Department announced that Trump administration decided to cut more than $200 million in bilateral aid to the Paleostinians, following a review of the funding for projects in the West Bank and Gazoo.
Over the past month, the Trump administration have reportedly been scrambling to amend the legislation in order to ensure the US security assistance to the PA continues.
A senior Israeli official told Ynet that Israel has also been working behind the scenes to ensure the law is amended, and once the US Congress returns from the Christmas break, there is a "reasonable" chance the legislation will indeed undergo the necessary changes.

[PRESSTV] Israeli forces have confiscated nearly 300 acres of Paleostinian-owned lands in the West Bank in a bid to expand its illegal settlements in the occupied territories, Paleostinian media reported.
According to the reports, Israel wants to use the seized lands to build an outpost, south of the Bethlehem district.
The Paleostinian Authority's Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee has condemned the move. It has also lodged an appeal to the regime's Supreme Court.
All Israeli settlements are illegal under international law.
They keep saying that, as if by repetition they could make it true.

The image of the flag had been affixed to the floor for several years to protest Israel’s military rule and Jordan’s normalized ties with the Jewish state, union officials said.
Ghunaimat, who is also the media and communications minister, was praised on social media for stepping on the flag as she arrived for the meeting.
Media reports did not specify whether other ministers and bigwigs had stepped on the flag or chosen to enter the building through the side entrance.

"An understanding was reached of how military representatives of Russia and Turkey will continue to coordinate their steps on the ground under new conditions with a view to finally rooting out terrorist threats in Syria," Lavrov said.
Cavusoglu confirmed the two countries would coordinate Syria operations, adding they also discussed plans to help refugees to return home.
