Two Brothers from Mexico Ran Jalisco Cartel Meth Operation in Dallas
[Breitbart] Two brothers from Mexico ran a large-scale meth distribution operation in Dallas, Texas, on behalf of Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG), one of the most violent drug cartels.

Federal court documents revealed that for several years, Ricardo Hernandez Zarate, 33, and his older brother Pedro Hernandez Zarate, 45, were behind large-scale shipments of liquid methamphetamine through a CJNG route that connected the Texas border with Dallas and ultimately Oklahoma.

According to federal prosecutors, the younger Hernandez Zarate acted as the cell leader, coordinating distribution to and within Dallas. He pleaded guilty in February 2022 and, earlier this month, received a 40-year prison sentence. He had permanent legal residency at the time of the offense.

The elder Hernandez Zarate directly coordinated one shipment of 112 gallons of liquid meth hidden in the diesel tank of a tractor-trailer. Federal prosecutors claimed that the shipment had a value of $9.9 million and was ultimately headed to Oklahoma. He was in the country illegally. He received a 30-year prison sentence.

Dallas has a long history of being used as a large distribution hub by Mexican cartels. At least since 2018, CJNG has used routes from Laredo to Dallas and Houston. Those routes rely on tractor-trailers where liquid meth is hidden in diesel tanks or solid meth is hidden within other cargo.

CJNG is considered one of the most violent criminal organizations in Mexico. Most of the raging violence and mass killing in Mexico is directly linked to turf wars between CJNG and the Sinaloa Cartel or their allies. In addition to hyperviolent executions and the mass shooting of innocent victims, CJNG has also been linked to the widespread use of explosive devices and drones to drop bombs.

Ahmed Qurei, Oslo Accords architect and former Palestinian PM, dies at 85
[IsraelTimes] PA President Abbas announces death of Abu Alaa, one of the chief negotiators of the 1990s deals with Israel that created the Paleostinian Authority

Ahmed Qurei, a former Paleostinian Authority prime minister and one of the architects of interim peace deals with Israel, has died at age 85.

A key player in the 1993 Oslo peace accords, Qurei witnessed the rise of the dream of Paleostinian statehood that surged during the negotiations. But he also saw those hopes recede, with the prospect of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict drifting further than ever. Domestically, Qurei was riddled with corruption charges that tainted his reputation.

Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
confirmed Qurei’s death on Wednesday. The cause of death was not immediately made public, but Qurei had been ill for some time with a heart condition.

"Abu Alaa stood in the lead defending the causes of his home and people," Abbas said in a statement carried by the official Wafa news agency, using Qurei’s nickname.

Israel’s former foreign minister Tzipi Livni, who in 2013-2014 was also minister in charge of negotiations with the Paleostinians, tweeted her condolences to Qurei’s family.

"I was sad to hear about the passing away of Ahmed Qurei," she wrote. "Together we’ve tried to bring peace to our peoples in an understanding that it’s our responsibility to make a better future for our children."

UN: Al-Shabaab losing grip in Somalia

Transition Mission in Somalia [ATMIS] troops and local militia, who have been instrumental in the war.

For six months, the partnership involving the teams has managed to bring about liberation of key strategic towns in Somalia, also leaving several al-Shabaab commanders dead. In total, the government of Somalia recently said over 600 murderous Moslems have been killed since July 2022, when President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud took over.

Kiki Gbeho, the Deputy Representative of the United Nations, told the United Nations Security Council [UNSC] on Wednesday that the country has made milestones in the fight against al-Shabaab in all fronts. She lauded strategies used on military, financial operations and ideological tactics.

Recently, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's administration blocked over 250 local bank accounts associated with al-Shabaab transactions besides closing down 70 mobile money transfer firms which have allegedly been wiring money to the bully boys. This is the first time Somalia is targeting al-Shabaab financial flow.

Already, business owners who have been remitting illegal taxes to al-Shabaab have also been put on notice with those found culpable risking cancellation of their business licenses according to the government. A report published by the UN showed al-Shabaab fortunes had increased to $150 million annually up from $100.

On ideological front, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has been involving holy mans to counter violent mostly peaceful extremism, a move which the UN termed as "positive approach". Kiki Gbeho further noted the military operations have largely been successes, adding that al-Shabaab has lost significant territories.

She lamented that 2022 was one of the deadliest years for civilians in Somalia, noting that the attacks by the murderous Moslems were the worst since 2017. Generally, there were about 600 civilian casualties in Somalia last year with over 900 people also injured in various attacks across the country according to records.

Al-Shabaab group has been carrying out retaliatory attacks across the country mainly targeting innocent civilians and members of security forces. At times, the murderous Moslems have also been targeting senior government officials in their cowardly attacks which are spilling in other countries.

Early this month, Presidents William Ruto [Kenya], Ismail Omar Guelleh [Djibouti] and Æthiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended a conference of Frontline states in Somalia where a unilateral decision on helping Somalia was reached. There are close to 22,000 mission forces in Somalia.

The UN also took note of the drought which has ravaged citizens of Somalia, with most of them crossing over to Kenya where they are housed in Dadaab refugee camp. Thousands of people have been struggling to afford food due to raging drought, the UN said.

"With 5 consecutive poor rainy seasons, current drought is unprecedented in its severity; needs continue to rise, with about 8.3 million people...famine prevented for now but remains a threat if the April to June rains underperform as forecast and assistance is not sustained," Gbeho noted.

Somalia is yet to receive rains for the last three years and the hunger within the country has claimed lives of dozens of people. The al-Shabaab, Somalia recently said, has been using the catastrophe to threaten locals against supporting government initiatives for the last three years.

Vital facilities in aggressor countries will be targeted if war continues, Defence Minister of Yemen warns
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i defence Minister, Major General Mohammad Nasser al-Atifi warned on Thursday the countries involved in aggression against Yemen to target their vital and strategic facilities if they did not incline to a just peace.

"If the enemy does not seek a just peace, the world will hear the extent of our targeting of the vital and strategic installations that we monitored in the depths of the countries involved in aggression, which will have a clear impact," al-Atifi said during an event commemorating martyrdom of President Saleh al-Sammad.

He added: "If the enemies do not seize the opportunities and initiatives of a honorable peace, then we have prepared our capabilities, and our capabilities will put an end to their games, and they must bear the consequences."

The Minister of Defence affirmed that "our will is strong and steadfast, and our determination will not waver, and our stance towards our cause and the issues of our Nation, foremost of which is Paleostine, will not change."

"We are aware of the extent of the challenges and risks, and we are well aware of the evasion and procrastination of the enemies and their lackeys," he stated.

Al-Atifi stressed that the Martyr President al-Sammad was not changed by the authority and was not attracted by its gains, rather, he chose the curriculum of science, work and sound management, so he made the first features of building the modern Yemeni state with high efficiency and capacity.

On Thursday morning, an official event was held in the capital Sana’a, in the presence of the Grand Mufti of Yemen, Sheikh Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, and political and military leaders, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Martyr al-Sammad.

Al-Sammad was the first president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council and an icon in the face of the US-Saudi war on Yemen. He played a key role in supporting the Yemeni Military industries that led to the capability of causing a heavy blow to the Saudi economy.

On the 19th of April 2018, al-Sammad, was assassinated when a US-Saudi air raid targeted his vehicle near the besieged port city of Hodeidah.

13-year-old Palestinian indicted for killing Border Police officer in East Jerusalem
[IsraelTimes] Muhammad Zalbani accused of stabbing Staff Sgt. Asil Sawaed in head and neck multiple times during attack at checkpoint last week; officer was also hit by friendly fire

Prosecutors on Thursday filed an indictment against a 13-year-old Paleostinian who stabbed a police officer last week, charging him with aggravated murder for the killing of Border Police officer Staff Sgt. Asil Sawaed, 22.

Due to the suspect’s age, he is not expected to be tossed in the clink
Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit!
and instead be placed in a juvenile detention center or similar institution.

According to the indictment filed at the District Juvenile Court in Jerusalem, Muhammad Bassel Fathi Zalbani, a resident of the Shuafat Refugee Camp, found a knife as he was leaving the building in which he lives, and allegedly decided to commit the February 13 attack.

Zalbani took a bus heading into Jerusalem that passes through a checkpoint, where he sought to attack security forces.

The indictment said the teen sat at the back of the bus, placed the knife near his leg to be able to draw it quickly, and waited for security forces to board for a routine inspection.

Sawaed boarded the bus and began to question the passengers heading into Jerusalem. When he reached the back of the bus, Zalbani pulled out the knife and stabbed Sawaed in the head and neck multiple times, according to the indictment.

A civilian security officer who had boarded the bus with Sawaed shot up the teen attacker, but one of the shots hit the Border Police officer in the thigh. Zalbani was not hit by the gunfire, and was detained.

Sawaed died en route to the hospital from wounds caused by the stabbing and gunfire.

Zalbani was slapped with a terrorist act of aggravated murder, among other charges.

Police said Zalbani acted alone. However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
officers detained his parents and brother for questioning shortly after the attack.

Sawaed, from the northern Bedouin village of Hussniyya, was a noncommissioned officer in the force after completing his mandatory service.

The stabbing came amid a string of Paleostinian terror attacks in Jerusalem in recent weeks that have left 11 people dead and several more seriously hurt.

Separately on Thursday, a military court convicted a Paleostinian over his involvement in a 2015 killing of an Israeli couple in the West Bank.

Zir Ziad Jamal Amar is accused of being part of a four-man Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, cell that shot Eitam and Naama Henkin dead as they were traveling in their car near the West Bank settlement of Itamar on October 1, 2015. Their four small children — the oldest was nine years old — were in the back seat and witnessed their murder, but were uninjured.

The court accepted the prosecution’s position that Amar was guilty of the attack, although he was not present at the time of the shooting.

Amar was convicted of two counts of intentionally causing the death of the Henkins. The charge is equivalent to murder in the West Bank military court.

He was additionally convicted of four charges of attempted murder and several other security offenses, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

While not present at the scene during the shooting, Amar was accused by the IDF of planning the attack with the other three members of the cell, providing them with the weapons and ammunition, and making sure Israeli forces were not present at the scene where they intended to carry out the attack.

The other three members have already been sentenced to life plus 30 years for the attack.

Israel bars EU parliament member from entering the country
She is an open enemy of the country, and has worked to make it disappear. Why on earth would they welcome her even in transit?
[IsraelTimes] Officials cite Ana Miranda’s participation in the 2015 ’Freedom Flotilla III’ attempt to break blockade of the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip as reason for refusal

A member of the European Parliament was turned back at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on Tuesday and sent to her native Spain after she attempted to enter Israel on a diplomatic mission to the Paleostinian Authority.

Israeli officials cited the fact that the politician, Ana Miranda, who represents the Galicia region, participated in a 2015 flotilla that attempted to break Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip. Israel imposes the blockade to prevent Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",, the Islamic terror group that controls the Strip and avowedly seeks Israel’s destruction, from importing weaponry. Critics call the policy collective punishment.

Israeli law prohibits supporters of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement from entering the country, and US Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar
...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She was apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side...
were barred from visiting in 2019.

But Politico obtained emails sent earlier this month from Israel’s Foreign Ministry that granted Miranda permission to visit.

"It’s a diplomatic conflict [and] it’s intolerable that Israel exerts control over members of a delegation that’s going to Paleostine, not going to Israel," Miranda told Politico.
There is no Paleostine
Roberta Metsola, president of the EU parliament, wrote on Twitter that she was "deeply disappointed" by the incident and "will be contacting Israel’s authorities to clarify what happened."

Miranda, a member of the Greens/European Free Alliance group, was part of a delegation of eight EU politicians. Some had planned to visit Israel, while others planned to visit the West Bank. Politico reported that the Israeli Foreign Ministry emails show that another proposed member of the delegation, Manu Pineda, was barred from entry over his alleged support of Hamas, the group that rules Gaza and is considered a terrorist organization by the United States and the EU. Pineda denies supporting Hamas, but he did not attempt to visit after his request was denied.

"Respect for all elected MEPs and the European Parliament is essential for good EU-Israel relations," Nabila Massrali, the European Commission’s spokesperson for foreign affairs, told Politico. "This decision is deeply disappointing."

Malaysian facilitator: BRN agrees to other Thai Deep South groups in talks
[BenarNews] The main Thai Deep South separatist organization BRN has agreed to other groups joining peace talks with the Thai government, the Malaysian negotiator told BenarNews on Wednesday after the latest two-day round of negotiations held in Kuala Lumpur.

Analysts noted the new Malaysian controller for the talks, former military chief Zulkifli Zainal Abidin, achieved another breakthrough when he managed the rare feat of a joint presser with negotiators representing the Thai government and the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN) rebel group.
...the largest group in the Thai insurgency in the southern Thai provinces that make up the old Patani sultanate.
Zulkifli said he hoped other groups from the Malay-majority Deep South would be present at the next round of negotiations in March, which would mark the first time they participate in peace talks since 2018.

"They have agreed in principle to invite others because they want to be inclusive too, but we need to send formal invitations to the others to make it happen," Zulkifli told BenarNews in an exclusive interview.

This was the first round of talks attended by Zulkifli since he took over as controller this year, replacing Abdul Rahim Noor, although the former Malaysian military chief visited Bangkok earlier this month to introduce himself to the Thai government team.

After the two days of talks, the Peace Dialogue Panel for the Southern Border Provinces of Thailand, headed by Gen. Wanlop Rugsanaoh, and the BRN delegation, headed by Anas Abdulrahman, agreed to move forward the peace dialogue process under what they termed a "Joint Comprehensive Plan toward Peace."

This plan, though, would have a timeframe — 2023 to 2024 — and would address issues dealing with reduction of violence, and public consultation that leads to political solutions, a Thai statement said.

Specific details would be worked out between March and May during technical meetings, "with an aim to present such [a] draft for consideration and endorsement" in June, the statement said.

When asked whether he believed the separatist conflict would end in two years, Zulkifli said he did.

"I am confident based on my two friends here," he said at the presser.

BRN has been fighting since January 2004 to establish an independent state for Malay Moslems who form the majority of the population in the southern border region. More than 7,300 people have been killed and 13,500 others injured in violence across the region since then, according to Deep South Watch, a local think-tank.
