President Ruto voices concerns over genocide in Sudan
[SUDANTRIBUNE] President William Ruto of Kenya has called for an immediate halt to the ongoing armed conflict in Sudan, expressing deep concerns about the signs of genocide emerging in the country.

Speaking to La Belle France 24 TV from Gay Paree, where he participated in a Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, Ruto attributed the destruction of Sudan and the loss of civilian lives to rival generals in the region.

"The war is senseless. The war is not legitimate in any way," emphasized President Ruto, who also serves as the leader of the IGAD quadripartite mechanism for resolving the Sudanese crisis.

He stressed the urgent need to cease festivities in the Khartoum and Darfur regions, stating, "There are already signs of genocide. What is going on in Sudan is unacceptable."

President Ruto highlighted that both parties involved in the conflict employ military power to devastate the country and perpetrate violence against innocent civilians.

However,
there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly...
despite being appointed by the East African bloc to chair the quartet consisting of Djibouti, Æthiopia, Kenya, and South Sudan, President Ruto faced rejection from the military leadership in Sudan.

Addressing Sudan’s explicit rejection of Kenyan leadership for the quartet, President Ruto responded that al-Burhan had made similar statements regarding the IGAD, the UN, and the Jeddah talks.

Furthermore, President Ruto dismissed al-Burhan’s accusations that Kenya was harbouring RSF leader Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, also known as Hemetti, in a hospital in Nairobi.

Nigeria: displaced person camps under pressure
[AFRICANEWS] After authorities in northeast Nigeria
... a particularly crimson stretch of Islam's bloody border...
closed a dozen camps for people displaced by the region's jihadist conflict, the other camps are increasingly overwhelmed.

Authorities in the state of Borno last year shut the camps, saying they had secured the countryside. While the number of attacks have decreased in recent years, the jihadists remain active in the region and people have been forced to find refuge elsewhere.

Thousands have fled to Borno State capital, Maiduguri. The official camp GSSS was built to house 25,000 but now hosts 100,000, according to the United Nations

Malians approve the new draft constitution with 97% of the voteVolume 90%
[AFRICANEWS] Malians have approved the draft of a new constitution submitted by the junta in power since 2020, with 97% of the vote, the electoral authority said in Bamako on Friday, according to provisional official results.
That sounds likely.
Given that, according to the CIA World Factbook, among those Malians age 15 years and older the literacy is 35% (10 points higher for men, 10 points lower for women), likely seems a pointed word for the thing.
The military has made the draft constitution an essential cornerstone in the rebuilding of Mali, which is facing widespread jihadism and a deep multi-faceted crisis.

The ballot was marred by incidents and irregularities, according to observers and opponents of the reform.

The electoral body also announced that the turnout was 39.40%.
More than can actually read, in fact, which makes it rather impressive — such a desire to participate in the democratic process!
Critics of the new constitution claim it was tailor-made to keep the colonels in power beyond the presidential elections scheduled for February 2024, despite their initial commitment to hand over to civilians after the elections.

Voting was hampered in many central and northern localities, either by fear of jihadist attacks or by political disagreements.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
''Russia is a destabilising power in Africa,'' says Emmanuel Macron
[AFRICANEWS] On Friday, Emmanuel Macron accused Russia of being "a power destabilising Africa", in an interview with franceinfo/RFI/La Belle France 24 on the fringes of the Gay Paree summit, with the Kremlin assuring that it was developing "constructive relations" with Russia.

"It is a power destabilising Africa through private militias that come to predate and commit acts of violence against civilian populations", said the French President, pointing out that "this has been documented by the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
in the Central African Republic through the Wagner militia".

In his view, "Russia has of its own volition put itself in a situation where it no longer respects international law, where it has once again become one of the few colonial powers of the 21st century, by waging a war of empire against its neighbour, Ukraine".

The Kremlin was quick to dismiss these accusations, assuring that it was developing "constructive relations" in Africa with the continent's countries.

"Russia is developing (with African countries) friendly, constructive relations based on mutual respect", Russian presidential front man Dmitri Peskov told news hounds.

These relations "are not and cannot be directed against third countries", he also stressed.

Since the start of its invasion of Ukraine, Russia has sought to strengthen its economic and diplomatic ties with Africa, competing in some countries with La Belle France, a former colonial power on the continent.

#1  "Russia is a destabilizing power in Africa..."
Just like, the USA, French, China, IRAN, the Brits, and etc.. have all tried and/or done the last 200+ years.

I still remember the Clinton's using Somalia Oct. 1993 to deflect from his impeachment and criminal acts and behavior. That stunt that got 2 of my SFOD-D friends killed.

#2  /\ Africa is it's own.... "destabilizer."

Keep the Klingons and the 'Red Roof Inn' the fok out of it. The Chinese and Russians will have their arses handed to them in time, just like everyone else.

Please, tell the MIC to get real jobs.
Let's stay at home and mind our own business. It's worked for SZ for several hundred years.

#4  Africa seems to be a destabilizing power in Africa.

Add Cuba, Belgium, UN, League of Nations, Indians. I think you have to go back to the Muslim slavers ruling with an iron hand, and I think they still just stuck to the roads and the mineral mines. Go back far enough and I bet you have a Badarian, "Hey, what's up river?" and another, "Been there, fuck it."

Macron should stick to deep throating Caronas.

“Please don’t hurt me!”
A recording of the stream, in which a blogger from Volgograd Pavel Prokudin insulted Muslims, was published on social networks, in particular, on June 22 it was published by the Atypical Makhachkala Telegram channel.

On the recording, the young man repeatedly mentioned Muslims who grew three-meter beards and listen to Allah, mentioning the numerous restrictions that exist in Islam, while actively using profanity. Khalistani Leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun Reportedly Untraceable Since 48 Hours
From a few days ago.
[OneIndia] If media and Twitter speculation is to be believed, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the founder of pro-Khalistan outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) is reportedly untraceable since 48 hours.
It’s been 96 hours now, and nothing more in One India’s pages.
The development comes a day after designated terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who headed pro-Khalistan outfits Khalistan Tiger Force and the Canadian arm of SFJ, was rubbed out by unknown attackers at a parking lot of a gurdwara in Surrey, Canada, on Monday.

It must be noted that in just over a month, three Khalistani separatists including Khalistan Tiger Force chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who were wanted in India have died. In May, news emerged regarding the killing of Paramjit Singh Panjwar, a 63-year-old Khalistani terrorist based in Pakistain.

WHO IS GURPATWANT SINGH PANNUN?
Pannun, a lawyer based in New York, USA, reportedly hails from Khankot, a village in Punjab's Amritsar district. According to The Caravan, Pannun established Sikhs for Justice in 2007 while residing in the United States.

Pannun has been actively involved in lobbying for the cause of Khalistan and has been organising events and rallies in different parts of the world, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He is spearheading a campaign 'Referendum 2020'. He has issued an appeal to Punjab

2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

based gangsters and youth to fight for the cause of independent state of Khalistan. He has demanded a separate Sikh state on the pattern of Catalonia, Spain. He also travelled to Spain for studying the referendum on self-determination that held in Catalonia, Spain in 2017.

Pannun has also been involved in filing lawsuits against Indian officials and institutions in international courts, alleging human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
violations against Sikhs.

In 2020, Pannun was declared a designated terrorist by Government of India and his agricultural land was attached under Section 51A of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Pannun is currently facing 22 criminal cases, including three of sedition, in Punjab, India.

In October 2022, Interpol rejected India's second request to issue a Red Corner Notice on terror charges against Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, citing not enough information.

Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), a separatist organization, has been banned in India due to its activities that aim to foster animosity among various groups and incite Khalistan sentiment within the Sikh community. However,
alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk...
the founder of SFJ, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has not faced any consequences thus far.

CRACKDOWN ON KHALISTAN MOVEMENT
In a concerted effort to curb separatist sentiment, India has taken strict measures against organizations and individuals involved in activities aimed at fueling division in various countries.

On September 23, India issued an advisory urging Indian nationals and students residing in Canada to maintain a state of vigilance due to the rising incidents of crimes and anti-India activities within the country.

In response to the resurgence of militancy in Punjab, Indian diplomats have engaged in discussions with various foreign governments, such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has taken proactive steps in addressing this issue, reflecting their heightened focus on the matter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed his concerns regarding this during his recent visit to Australia, emphasising the need for collective action in countering the threat.
From One India News on the 19th:
Canada-based Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot by two unidentified assailants and he died on the spot.

He was seen in protests in front of the Consulate General of India, Vancouver in the last few years. He also had links with Avtar Singh Khanda, a Khalistani leader of the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), who died in a hospital in the UK, last week.

IHC bars police from arresting Asad Umar, Shah Mahmood Qureshi

and granted interim bail to the former ministers.

The interim bail was granted against surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each, and the police were directed to submit the records of the case by July 10.

Umar and Qureshi had moved a local court of Islamabad for bail in a case filed against them at the Tarnol Police Station in the federal capital related to the May 9 riots.

However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
their bail pleas were rejected by Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra.

Following this, dramatic scenes were witnessed in the district and sessions court as Qureshi and Umar slipped from the courtroom after their pleas were dismissed.

Apart from the two leaders, former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser had also fled from the court in similar circumstances. However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
Qaiser’s bail was rejected in the case registered against him at the Sangjani Police Station.

The PTI leaders reached the court separately. In a bid to avoid arrest and make sure of their successful escape, Qureshi and Umar heard the verdicts while standing at the doorstep of the courtroom. As soon as the judge rejected their bail pleas, the duo hurriedly moved to the same vehicle and managed to run away from the scene.

Qaiser, however, left the courtroom moments before the judge pronounced the verdict, which was reserved earlier.

Following their escape, all three leaders approached the Beautiful Downtown Peshawar

After hearing their petitions, the PTI leaders were granted transitory bail so they could appear before the IHC.

The IHC had granted Qureshi and Umar time till today to present themselves in court when it took up the case on Thursday.

Govt decides to amend laws to end human trafficking menace
[The Nation (Pak)] Following the tragic shipwreck off the Greece coast in which over 80 Paks died and hundreds are missing, the federal government has decided to amend the Trafficking in Person Act, 2018.

"The proposed amendment will make human smuggling and human trafficking a non-bailable offence," the sources said, adding that bank accounts and the assets of persons involved in human trafficking and smuggling will be frozen.

Moreover, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah announced today that a crackdown is launched against those responsible for human smuggling that led to the deaths of several Pak citizens.

"There is also a flaw in the law on this issue," the federal minister said, addressing the National Assembly.

He further shared that a high-level committee — headed by a grade 22 officer — had been set up to address the issue.

"The committee is working on three aspects," he revealed, adding that those involved in the accidents have been spared from the courts so far.

However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
Sanaullah said proposed legislation in this regard is in progress.

"These people try to go to Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
through Egypt, Libya and UAE. Thousands of young people are in contact with these three countries regarding the issuance of visas," he added.

Reiterating that action would be taken against those involved in human trafficking, he said comprehensive recommendations would be brought before the nation, and full measures would be taken to prevent illegal migration.

Shedding light on the accountability of those involved in human smuggling and trafficking in the past, Sanaullah said: "In the five years of data available, hardly anyone has been convicted. Then, the affected families reconcile."

He added that people travel legally from Pakistain to Egypt, Libya and UAE.

"After that, people travel illegally," he said.

The interior minister said that 12 Paks were rescued in the accident, where the boat with a capacity of 400 people had carried 700 people.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Gadhafi's detained son taken to hospital due to hunger strike in Lebanon
[An Nahar] A son of late Libyan leader Muammar Qadaffy
...a proud Arab institution for 42 years, now among the dear departed, though not the dearest...
was briefly taken to hospital this week after his health deteriorated nearly three weeks into a hunger strike to protest his detention without trial in Beirut, a person familiar with the case said.

The health of Hannibal Qadaffy, who has been only drinking small amounts of water, deteriorated on Wednesday the person said, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered...
because of the sensitivity of the case.

Qadaffy, who started his hunger strike on June 3, was taken to Beirut's Hotel-Dieu de La Belle France hospital on Wednesday after suffering a drop in blood pressure and inflammation in the spine.

Qadaffy was given serum, antibiotics and food supplements and after his health stabilized he was taken back to the jail where he is held in Beirut, the person said. A doctor checked on Qadaffy in his cell on Thursday and he is in stable, pH balanced condition, the person said. He had been suffering back pain due to being held in a small room where he cannot move freely or exercise.

Hannibal Qadaffy has been detained in Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
since 2015 after he was briefly kidnapped from neighboring Syria, where he had been living as a political refugee.

He was kidnapped by Lebanese snuffies demanding information on the whereabouts of prominent Lebanese Shiite holy man Moussa al-Sadr, who went missing in Libya 45 years ago.

Lebanese police later announced it had collected Hannibal from the northeastern city of Baalbek where he was being held. He has been detained in a Beirut jail without trial since then.

The disappearance of al-Sadr in 1978 has been a long-standing sore point in Lebanon. The holy man's family believes he may still be alive in a Libyan prison, though most Lebanese presume al-Sadr is dead. He would be 94 years old.

Al-Sadr was the founder of the Amal group, Arabic for "hope," and an acronym for the group's Arabic name, the Lebanese Resistance® Brigades. The group later fought in Lebanon's 1975-90 civil war. Lebanon's powerful Parliament Speaker Nabih Knobby Berri
...Speaker of the Lebanese parliament, head of the Amal Shiite party aligned with Hezbollah, a not very subtle sock puppet of the Medes and Persians...
heads the group.

Most of al-Sadr's followers are convinced that Muammar Qadaffy ordered al-Sadr killed in a dispute over Libyan payments to Lebanese militias. Libya has maintained that the holy man and his two traveling companions left Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
in 1978 on a flight to Rome and suggested he was a victim of a power struggle among Shiites.

Qadaffy was killed by opposition fighters in 2011, ending his four-decade rule of the north African country.

Hannibal Qadaffy was born two years before al-Sadr disappeared.
