Arab MK slams US liberal over post spreading fear of Zionist doctors
[IsraelTimes] Arab-Israeli MK Ahmed Tibi slams a far-left American who claimed patients should fear Zionist doctors.

"Realizing how many American doctors and nurses are Zionists and genuinely terrified for Paleostinian, Arab, Moslem, South Asian and Black patients — even more than usual," Saira Rao wrote in a Monday X post that has received more than 6 million views.

"Stop spreading lies, especially against the healthcare system. This is racism," Tibi, a Hadash-Ta’al MK and gynecologist, tweets in Hebrew.

A community note has been added to Rao’s post, calling her claim "a classic antisemitic trope."

Saira Sameera Rao is an American political activist, author, publisher, and former lawyer and television producer. She is the co-founder of Race2Dinner, In This Together Media, and Haven, and came to greater prominence in 2018 when she ran for Congress, losing out to incumbent Democrat Diana DeGette in the primary.
Race2Dinner was this thing where Ms Saira charged moneyed white women mucho dinero to host a dinner party where persons of colour insulted them for their racism in their own homes.

Defense Secretary Austin has been hospitalized since Jan. 1, but Pentagon kept the news quiet
[AyPee] Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been hospitalized since Monday, due to complications following a minor elective medical procedure, Air Force Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, said Friday. It was the department’s first acknowledgement that Austin had been admitted — five days earlier — to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Nice. While Biden was on a family holiday in the Caribbean.
Ryder said Friday that it’s not clear when Austin will be released from the hospital, but said the secretary is “recovering well,” adding that he expected “to resume his full duties” Friday.
Putting the "In" back into "Incompetence"
The Pentagon’s failure to disclose Austin’s hospitalization is counter to normal practice with other senior U.S. and Cabinet officials, including the president. The Pentagon Press Association, which represents media members who cover the Defense Department, sent a letter of protest to Ryder and Chris Meagher, the assistant defense secretary for public affairs.

“The fact that he has been at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for four days and the Pentagon is only now alerting the public late on a Friday evening is an outrage,” the PPA said in its letter. “At a time when there are growing threats to U.S. military service members in the Middle East and the U.S. is playing key national security roles in the wars in Israel and Ukraine, it is particularly critical for the American public to be informed about the health status and decision-making ability of its top defense leader.”

2 Al-Shabaab fighters surrender to Somali government
02/01/2024
[ShabelleMedia] Two Al-Shabaab
... the personification of Somali state failure...
fighters have surrendered to the government forces of Somalia in the Bakool region as the war on the group enters its second phase.

Mohammed Ibrahim, 22, and Aden Isak, 21, defected from al-Shabaab after making contacts before surrendering to Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency [NISA].

They will be taken for rehabilitation at a rehab center in Baidoa or Mogadishu, per reports.

NISA officials in the Bakool region urged the group fighters intending to benefit from the government’s amnesty to follow suit, saying they would welcome defecting from the Al-Shabaab.

The defection comes as the fighting between the Somali National Army [SNA] and the local clan fighters intensified the fight against al-Shabaab on several fronts mainly in south-central Somalia.

Despite defeats, the gunnies still control huge swathes of rural areas where they conduct ambushes and plant landmines targeting the military convoy of the SNA and AU troops.

US reaches deal to extend military presence at Qatari air base — source
[IsraelTimes] The United States has reached a deal to extend its military presence at a base in Qatar

They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
for another 10 years, a source familiar with the matter tells Rooters.

The base in question is the Al Udeid Air Base, which is located in the desert southwest of Doha and hosts the largest US military facility in the Middle East, the source says, asking to not be identified.

The development was reported first by CNN

Strip and the release of hostages captured by the Paleostinian Islamist terror group in its devastating October 7 cross-border attack on Israel, in which some 1,200 people were killed and around 240 taken hostage.

US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....
has regularly spoken with the emir of Qatar since October 7 on securing the release of hostages held by Hamas and on boosting aid to Gaza, where Israel’s assault since the Hamas attack has killed over 22,000 Paleostinians, according to Hamas health authorities. The figure, which doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants, cannot be verified independently and is also believed to include Gazooks killed by errant rockets launched by forces of Evil in the Strip.

There has also been criticism of Qatar by some in the US Congress over Hamas’s presence in the country. A bipartisan group of 113 US politicians on October 16 sent a letter to Biden asking him to put pressure on countries who support Hamas, including Qatar.

Danish carrier Maersk will redirect ships around Africa due to Houthis
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Danish carrier Maersk will extend the withdrawal of its ships from the Red Sea for the foreseeable future due to security concerns amid a series of attacks by Houthi militants. This is stated in the company's press release on the Maersk website.

“The situation is constantly evolving and remains highly fluid, and all available intelligence confirms that the security risk remains at a significantly elevated level,” the press release said.

The company noted that it is trying to provide customers with “greater consistency and predictability” despite delivery delays. Ships heading to Europe will for now bypass the African continent through the Cape of Good Hope.

As Regnum reported, on December 30, in the Red Sea from areas controlled by the Houthis, missiles were fired at a container ship of the Danish company Maersk, which was sailing under the flag of Singapore. The carrier has suspended ship movements in the area indefinitely.

Following the attack, Maersk suspended ship movements in the Red Sea indefinitely. The Danish carrier added that the company will stop transporting goods through the area while the situation is assessed.

In early January, several merchant ships in the southern Red Sea reported ballistic missiles being fired towards them from Yemen. The Houthis also attacked the French carrier CMA CGM's Tage.

A representative of the movement assured that militants will continue to attack ships heading to Israel, adding that attempts at counteraction by the United States will not be left unanswered.

In turn, Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the alarming events in the Red Sea are a projection of violence in Gaza.

In sermon, Australian imam says Jews are ‘bloodthirsty, treacherous monsters’
[IsraelTimes] Referencing Oct. 7 attacks, Ahmad Zoud of Sydney celebrates how ’those cowards collapsed in the face of the attacks by the mujahideen, and bravely ran away from them like rats’.
Claudine Gay says you have to look at The Context™
Recordings of a recent Friday sermon at the Masjid as-Sunnah Lakemba Mosque in Sydney, Australia show Imam Ahmad Zoud making antisemitic comments, saying Jews are bloodthirsty, treacherous "monsters."

The December 22 sermon, broadcast live on the mosque’s Facebook page, begins with several rhetorical questions, for example: "Who are these monsters from whose hearts mercy has been ripped out?" referring to Israel’s war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. Zoud answers emphatically: "These are the Zionists. These are the Jews."

The war was triggered by Hamas
...the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
’s brutal October 7 onslaught, which saw some 3,000 holy warriors cross the border into Israel to slay nearly 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and take over 240 hostages, while weaponizing sexual violence on a mass scale.

The Australia holy man can be heard mocking the victims of the Hamas onslaught, saying "those cowards collapsed in the face of the attacks by the mujahideen, and bravely ran away from them like rats."

After saying his statements apply only to "most Jews," Zoud proceeds to say that "betrayal and treachery are among the characteristics of the Jews."

And "the most important characteristic of the Jews is that they are bloodthirsty," he shouts. "They love to shed blood!"

"From an early age they raise their children on violence, terrorism and killing," he adds. "Jews remain Jews. They are not changed by the passing of time."

Zoud’s sermon was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a Washington-based think tank dedicated to exposing Islamic extremism.

Turkish court rules to formally arrest 15 people suspected of ties to Mossad
[IsraelTimes] A Ottoman Turkish court rules to formally arrest 15 people and deport eight others suspected of being linked to the Mossad intelligence service and of targeting Paleostinians living in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
, according to state broadcaster TRT Haber.

Ottoman Turkish authorities detained 34 people earlier this week after warning Israel of "serious consequences" if it tried to hunt down members of the bad boy group Hamas
...the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
living outside Paleostinian territories, including in Turkey.

TRT Haber’s story provides no details about what the court decided for the remaining 11 people who were initially detained.

Turkey, unlike most of its Western allies and some Arab nations, does not classify Hamas as a terrorist organization.

Police raided locations in eight provinces to capture the suspects as part of the investigation carried out by the MIT intelligence agency and the Istanbul prosecutor’s counter-terrorism bureau.

Wall Street Journal rebukes Biden for US aid ending up in terrorists' hands
[YNet] The Wall Street Journal, known for its conservative stances, criticized U.S. President Joe Biden in an editorial published on Friday for facilitating the transfer of U.S. taxpayer money in the form of aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) despite its policy of monthly payments to Palestinian prisoners convicted of terrorist activities against Israel and families of terrorists killed or injured by Israeli security forces.

Titled "Your Aid Dollars for Palestinian Terrorists," the author explains the controversial payment mechanism familiar to the Israeli public, which has been dubbed a "pay for slay" scheme.

It asserts that the West, viewing West Bank Palestinians as "moderate," offers significant economic support, with the European Union alone contributing $700 million annually.

The author notes that former President Donald Trump cut U.S. aid to the PA by over $200 million, but President Biden restored and even increased the support in 2021.

Sending money to Gaza is like pouring gasoline into a dumpster fire. Then he tells the fire department to stand down. And WSJ finally figured it out? OK. Now ask if he does it on purpose because he hates Israel and he most particularly hates Netanyahu. But I know they'll never ask that.

I tried subscribing to WSJ a few years back. I thought it might be nice to have an actual paper newspaper to read in the morning. The article here demonstrates at least one good reason why I corrected that mistake by cancelling.

Canada-Based Gangster Lakhbir Singh Landa Declared Terrorist By MHA
December 30, 2023
[OneIndia] The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday declared Lakhbir Singh Landa, a Canada-based gangster and Babbar Khalsa International (BKI)
...one of the Khalistan independence groups, fighting for the idea of an independent Sikh homeland in the Indian (and Pak, but they don't dwell on that) Punjab. The local troublemakers are financed by the Sikh diaspora, who love the idea of the folks they left behind murdering their neighbours before dying romantically for a hopeless idea, with training and additional funding from Pakistain’s ISI as yet another arrow in their quiver aimed at the Indian throat since the 1980s....
leader, as an "individual terrorist" under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Landa, overseeing the trafficking of arms and improvised bombs (IEDs) from Pakistain to India, orchestrated the rocket propelled grenade (RPG) attack on Punjab
1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

Police's intelligence headquarters in Mohali on May 9 last year. Both the Punjab Police and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have sought him in connection with this assault.

According to the MHA's notification, Landa had close ties with Canada-based pro-Khalistan elements (PKEs), including the late Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Sikhs for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, among others.

Originally from Harike in Punjab's Tarn Taran district, Landa currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The notification detailed Landa's involvement in various criminal activities, encompassing the supply of explosives, arms, and sophisticated weaponry across borders to different modules for executing terrorist acts in Punjab. His criminal record includes terror module establishment, extortion, killings, IED placements, weapon smuggling, narcotics trade, and channeling funds for terrorist activities in Punjab and other parts of India.

Additionally, the notification stated his implication in targeted liquidations, extortions, and other anti-national endeavors throughout the country.

In 2021, a lookout circular was issued against Landa, and the NIA has offered a reward for information leading to his arrest.

Chargesheet Filed Against Close Aide Of Canada-Based Khalistani Terrorist Arsh Dala
[OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday charge-sheeted Manpreet Singh, a close aide of designated individual terrorist Arshdeep Singh alias ''Arsh Dala'', in the terror-gangster network case, an official said.

Manpreet Singh alias ''Peeta'' was arrested last year following his deportation from the Philippines.

The charge-sheet was filed against Peeta in the multi-state terrorist-gangster-drug smuggler network case registered in 2022 before the Special NIA Court in Delhi, a spokesperson of the federal agency said.

The official said this was the third charge-sheet in the case, in which 21 accused have so far been charge-sheeted.

''Peeta was operating as a full-fledged crime-terror-extortion node from the Philippines as per the directions of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) operative, Canada-based, Dala. He was actively involved in collection of weapons from the India-Pakistain border and making extortion calls to raise funds for Dala and the KTF,'' the spokesperson said.

The central government had in February 2023 banned the KTF and declared it as a terrorist organization.

Peeta was also engaged in recruiting members for the terrorist group to execute terror crimes and conspiracies, the spokesperson said.

The official said the charge-sheet marks another major step in the NIA's efforts to disrupt, destroy and dismantle the terror-gangster nexus, which extends across many states within India and also many countries.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
France and Jordan airdrop aid to Gaza
La Belle France and Jordan have teamed up to airdrop seven tons of aid to civilians and aid workers in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, President Emmanuel Macron says.

"In a difficult context, La Belle France and Jordan delivered aid by air to the population and those aiding them," Macron writes on X.

"The humanitarian situation remains critical in Gaza" after three months of conflict, he adds.

The French leader posts a photograph of an airman standing on the cargo ramp of a military plane, with parachutes visible in the sky below.

Macron’s office says the "extremely complex operation" took place late Thursday, saying it had been made possible by close ties between the French and Jordanian militaries.

Each nation sent a C-130 transport plane with mixed French-Jordanian crews, bringing a total of seven tonnes of "humanitarian and health" aid, the presidency said.

The supplies dropped by La Belle France and Jordan were equipped with systems that remotely guided them to a Jordanian field hospital operating in the territory, the French presidency says.

Thursday’s mission "allows us to show that such operations are possible," the Elysee adds, without saying whether it would be repeated.

US offering $10 million for info that thwarts Hamas financial network
[IsraelTimes] The United States is offering up to $10 million for information on five Hamas

financiers or anything leading to the disruption of the Paleostinian hard boy group’s financial mechanisms, the State Department says.

The reward offering follows four rounds of US sanctions on Hamas after the group’s terror onslaught incursion into Israel on October 7.

The five are Abdelbasit Hamza Elhassan Khair, Amer Kamal Sharif Alshawa, Ahmed Sadu Jahleb, Walid Mohammed Mustafa Jadallah and Muhammad Ahmad ’Abd al-Dayim Nasrallah, who have all been previously designated global Death Eaters by the United States, the department says in a statement.

The first financier, known as Hamza, is based in Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
, has managed numerous companies in Hamas’ investment portfolio and was involved in the transfer of almost $20 million to Hamas, the department said. He is tied to Sudanese President Omar Bashir and Islamist groups undermining stability in Sudan, according to the State Department.
Nice current news: Omar "Epaulet Guy" Bashir was deposed in a coup d'état in 2019
Three of the Hamas operatives cited — Amer Kamal Sharif Alshawa, Ahmed Sadu Jahleb, and Walid Mohammed Mustafa Jadallah — are part of the group’s investment network in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
, the department says.

Nasrallah has close ties to Iranian entities and has been involved in the transfer of tens of millions of dollars to Hamas, including its military wing, the agency says, adding that he was based in Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
in October.

The rewards would be provided for information on any source of revenue for Hamas, major donors, financial institutions that facilitate transactions for Hamas, front companies that procure dual-use technology for the group and criminal schemes that benefit Hamas, the State Department says.

Palestinian govt snubs Israel's post-war Gaza vision
The PA cognoscenti think that if they hold out, the world will force Israel to trade land for a warlike hudna, while paying lotsa money to head PA honchos for the privilege. To be fair, it always worked in the past...

outlined by Israel’s defence minister that would turn governance of Gaza over to unnamed "Paleostinian bodies" while granting Israel security control, Al Jazeera reported.

Citing a statement aired by Paleostinian news agency Wafa, the publication said that the presidency is committed to seeing an end to Israel’s occupation and to a future Paleostinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, under the framework of the Arab Peace Initiative.

It "unequivocally [rejects] any plans that go beyond these parameters", the government said.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
More than 76,000 people in southern Lebanon displaced by cross-border fighting between Israel, Hezbollah
[IsraelTimes] More than 76,000 people have been displaced in Leb

Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. , with the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group launching rockets, missiles and drones at Israel on a near-daily basis, which Israel has responded to by hitting Hezbollah targets close to the border.

In a report published on Thursday, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) says that the escalation has displaced 76,018 people, mainly in areas of southern Lebanon bordering Israel.
And whose fault is that, pray tell?
More than 80 percent of the displaced Lebanese are staying with relatives, according to the report, and only 2% are housed in 14 collective shelters spread across the south of the country, mainly in the coastal city of Tyre and in the Hasbaya region.
Everybody knows how it turned out for the Arabs who fled Israel in 1948 and 1967 — nobody in that part of the world wants to be stuck in a UN refugee camp.
The rest have rented apartments or moved to homes in areas farther from the border, the UN agency adds.

According to figures shared by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant with US special envoy to the region Amos Hochstein on Thursday, more than 80,000 residents of northern Israel have been displaced by the cross-border festivities.

Hezbollah head says Lebanon could be 'exposed' to more Israeli attacks
Yes, indeed. How soon are you ready to start?
[GEO.TV] The head of Hezbollah said on Friday Leb

...a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
on the outskirts of Beirut.

Saleh al-Arouri was killed in a dronezap on a southern suburb of Beirut on Tuesday, in what some analysts said could also be seen as a message to Hezbollah that its strongholds were vulnerable to attack.

Delivering a televised address for the second time in less than a week after nearly two months without doing so, Hezbollah chief His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

said the group "cannot be silent about a violation of this level."

"This means that all of Lebanon will become exposed, all cities, villages, and figures will become exposed," he said.

Nasrallah said Hezbollah had carried out some 670 operations on the Lebanese-Israeli border since then, destroying a "large number" of Israeli military vehicles and tanks.

He also said that if the Israeli military managed to achieve its military goals in Gazoo
