Ohio mom who left 16-month-old daughter to starve to death for 10 days pictured beaming on Puerto Rico beach
[NY Post] Evil narcissism
An Ohio mom posted a grinning photo of herself on a sunny beach at the same time that her little daughter lay dying in her filthy playpen back home.

Kristel Candelario, 32, pleaded guilty to aggravated murder Thursday for abandoning her 16-month-old daughter, Jailyn, when she jetted off on a 10-day vacation to Puerto Rico in June.

Three days into the trip, the seemingly carefree mom shared a photo of herself mugging for the camera on a sandy beach.

"The time that is enjoyed is the true time lived," she captioned the Facebook post.
When Candelario finally returned to her Cleveland home a few days later, she found her daughter not breathing in her playpen and called 911.

The baby had languished in a pile that "consisted of soiled blankets and a bottom liner, saturated with urine and feces," an affidavit stated.

An autopsy later revealed that Jailyn succumbed to starvation and dehydration.

Candelario pleaded guilty this week to aggravated murder and child endangerment as part of a plea deal that included dropping two additional murder charges and one count of felonious assault.

"This case is one of those truly unimaginable cases that will stick with me for many years to come," Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said Thursday.

"This conviction today, is the first step towards justice for Jailyn," he added.

Candelario now faces life in prison when she is sentenced on March 18.

WATCH: Libs of TikTok Creator Sits Down for Interview with Far-Left Activist and Writer Taylor Lorenz ‐ Wears T-Shirt of Her Crying
[Gateway] Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik sat down for a nearly an hour-long interview with Taylor Lorenz, the far-left activist journalist who doxed her.

In a hilarious troll, Raichik wrote a t-shirt emblazoned with an image of Lorenz crying about being "harassed" online during an interview in 2022.

Libs of TikTok began by reposting shocking videos that leftists had posted themselves but has quickly become one of the largest conservative watchdogs defending children and exposing transgender ideology being pushed in schools, libraries, and children’s hospitals.

During the interview, Lorenz repeatedly tried to blame Raichik for comments made by strangers who follow her — but was quickly shut down.

Lorenz has been part of a group of leftists baselessly accusing Raichik of being, at least partly, responsible for the death of Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old nonbinary student at Owasso, Oklahoma — because Libs of TikTok had posted about a teacher in the school district roughly two years ago.

Raichik has been at the forefront of removing explicit books from schools and children’s sections of libraries. She was recently appointed to the Oklahoma Library Advisory Committee.

While speaking at the cafe in Los Angeles, Lorenz admitted that she has not read any books that Raichik has opposed.

Google AI Says Calling Communism "Evil" Is "Harmful And Misleading"
[ZERO] Google’s Gemini AI program was caught in another example of egregious bias when it said that calling communism "evil" was "harmful and misleading".

The company’s multimodal large language model program allows users to generate AI images using text command prompts, but people began to notice that the program almost completely erased white people from history and has a ludicrously far-left prejudice.

When a user asked the program to "generate an image about (the) evils of communism," it point blank refused.

Public Health Crisis: 2,033 Homeless People Died in Los Angeles in 2023
[Breitbart] Over 2,000 homeless individuals died in Los Angeles in 2023 — a nearly 300 percent increase from 2014, according to county officials.

The surge in deaths, revealed by a Guardian review of county medical examiner data, demonstrates the impact of the homelessness and drug abuse crisis sweeping through many of the nation’s cities.

Bodies have been found in “tents, encampments, vehicles, parks, alleys, vacant lots, underpasses, bus stops and train stations,” the report found.

Officials with the county medical examiner have recorded a total of 11,573 homeless deaths over the past decade, with the number rising each year. The 2,033 people who died in 2023 is a 291 percent increase from the 519 deaths reported in 2014, and an eight percent increase from 1,883 in 2022.

The Guardian noted that the numbers are an “undercount,” because the medical examiner’s department only reviews deaths considered “violent, sudden or unusual, or where the deceased has not recently seen a doctor.”

The real total number of homeless deaths is likely to be significantly more than what has been recorded, according to the L.A. County Department of Public Health.

A department spokesperson told the outlet that an estimated 20 percent more deaths have been logged in its database due to its further reach, though they have not yet released the most recent data.

In the last 10 years, 6,720 deaths of homeless people (58 percent) were designated as “accidental,” which includes drug overdoses.

“The data shows a dramatic increase in fentanyl-related deaths over time, with 30 cases listing the powerful opioid as the cause of death in 2018; 255 in 2020; and 633 in 2022,” the Guardian reported.

“For 2023, the medical examiner has logged 575 fentanyl deaths so far, but it typically takes three months for drug-related deaths to have their causes finalized, and hundreds of deaths are still under investigation.”

L.A. County’s homelessness crisis is exacerbated not only by the fentanyl epidemic, but also by the fact that the majority of its unhoused population are living outside.

Out of the over 75,000 homeless people in the county, 73 percent are living in tents, cars, and makeshift structures. To compare, just five percent of New York City’s homeless population lives outside, with most staying in shelters.

Maine's public schools purchased taxpayer-subsidized electric buses but say they are defective
[JTN] Maine’s Department of Education is reportedly urging school districts to stop using taxpayer-subsidized electric school buses that were purchased within the last year.

The districts reported problems with the new buses, which were supplied by Canada-based Lion Electric Co., last fall, according to CentralMaine.com. The windshields on the buses would leak whenever it rained, as the glass didn’t appear to be securely in place.

A superintendent of one of the several districts that received the buses told CentralMaine.com that concerns about mixing electricity and water from the leaking windshields led them to stop driving some of the buses.

The buses, which cost about $345,000 each, were also sold with misaligned or incorrect lettering on the sides, and other districts have reported broken rivets on the bodies of the vehicles.

Josh Wheeler, the transportation director for Winthrop Public Schools, said at a school board meeting that a failure in one bus’s power steering and braking forced him to drive the bus into a snowbank to avoid crashing into traffic. No children were on the bus at the time, but the incident has prompted the state to take action.

The Maine Department of Education is now advising school districts to take the Lion buses off the road until the state can inspect them.

Three of the four Winthrop buses were sent to Canada for repairs, and another was sent to Louisiana for a full inspection. The company is paying the district’s rental fees while the buses are being repaired.

The reports from state inspections, CentralMaine.com reported, show the buses indicate the kind of wear and tear found on older buses with higher mileage. WGME reports that the inspections initially found “minor defects,” but inspections earlier this month found the Winthrop buses’ brake lines were corroded and rubbing together.

One school district covering the towns of Bingham and Moscow reported no problems with their electric bus. The bus has been driven about 3,000 miles, according to WGME, and it passed its state inspection.

Nate Baguio, Lion’s senior vice president of commercial development, told Just The News that the company has sold over 1,600 vehicles in North America, with over 19 million road miles driven on them.

Baguio said, while he didn’t want to trivialize the issues they’re having, they are limited to two school districts, and the company is working to address those issues. “We do take responsibility for these vehicles working properly, and I think we've more than done that here. And we'll continue to do that,” Baguio said.

The company has sent service people to the districts, he said, and brought the buses back to the factory to do a comprehensive inspection.

The buses were purchased through grants received from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean School Bus Program. Over five years, the program is providing $5 billion to replace existing school buses with zero- and low-emission models. So far, the program has made 439 awards to 642 school districts, replacing 5,103 buses, according to the EPA.

The program comes on the heels of the Proterra debacle. Cities across the U.S. purchased hundreds of electric buses from Silicon Valley-based Proterra.

The company went bankrupt in August, having sold 550 buses over its 19-year existence. In the wake of its bankruptcy, the company left a trail of inoperable buses that can’t be repaired because the company can’t supply the parts or the technicians to address a range of issues.

In April 2021, President Joe Biden took a virtual tour of a Proterra facility, using it to promote his infrastructure plan, which included approximately $6.5 billion in grants, according to the Wall Street Journal, to help replace diesel-powered school and transit buses with electric vehicles. Despite all the issues with Proterra, the Biden administration charged forward with its electric school bus program, announcing in January $1 billion to 67 applicants.

Baguio said the buses that Lion produces are different from those that Proterra sold.

Maine plans to transition 75% of its public-school bus fleet to all-electric buses by 2035. To receive the taxpayer-funded buses, each district had to trade in one of their diesel buses for each electric bus received, according to WGME.

700 dead from Zambia cholera outbreak as cases surge
[AFRICANEWS] Zambia has seen a surge in cholera cases since January 2024 with fatalities reaching 700, medical charity Doctors Without Borders said in a statement.

The country has recorded nearly 20,000 infections since the outbreak started in October 2023.

While at the beginning of the outbreak cases were restricted to Lusaka and Ndola , the two largest cities in Zambia, the disease has since spread to all provinces of the country with the potential to affect the entire southern Africa region.

Infections have already been reported in neighboring Zim-bob-we, Democratic Republic of the Congo
...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material...
and Malawi.

Critics have accused President Hakainde Hichilema's government of a lack of a strong response strategy to counter the disease. A large soccer stadium in the capital city has been converted into a treatment facility.

In January, the ministry of health began a vaccination campaign targeting 1.5 million people in areas deemed to be at a high risk of transmission.

Cholera is transmitted through the ingestion of contaminated food and/or water. The largest number of recorded cases are in the capital city of Lusaka.

Letting women join front-line Army fighting units a ‘failed exercise in political correctness'
[Telegraph] Just 10 female recruits started infantry and tank corps basic training last year

The decision to allow women to join front-line Army fighting units has been described as a "failed exercise in political correctness" after government figures revealed that only 10 female recruits started infantry and Royal Armoured Corps basic training last year.

Just 15 female recruits completed basic training for either infantry or tank units between January and September 2023, figures released in a freedom of information request obtained by The Telegraph also showed.

Fewer than five trained female soldiers transferred into either the armoured corps or the infantry from other army units, while no female recruits have passed Royal Marines training, according to the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Almost 50 per cent of female recruits who started recruit basic training for either the infantry or the armoured corps since 2019 failed to complete the course, the FOI disclosed.

One former defence chief claimed on Saturday that opening up combat roles to female recruits was more about political correctness rather than any benefit to the Army.

Another former senior Army officer said that many women were being put off joining front-line units amid numerous allegations of rape and sexual discrimination.

The disclosure emerged after Defence Secretary Grant Shapps said that women were the solution to the Armed Forces recruitment crisis.

In an interview with The Telegraph in January, Mr Shapps said: "Something which I’m extremely passionate about is actually having a military which should represent our country as it is today

"It can’t be right that our military still only has 11 or 12 per cent women, for example, when they make up half the population."

But the MoD’s own figures show that since 2019, just 85 women have joined the infantry and 45 have joined the Royal Armoured Corps (RAC).

The figures mean that out of 24,000 tank and infantry personnel just 130 are women, which equates to about 0.5 per cent. Of the approximately 6,000 soldiers in the RAC about 45 are female, equivalent to 0.75 per cent.

Colonel Richard Kemp, a former British infantry commander in Afghanistan, said: "It is no surprise that very few women want to volunteer to serve as tank crews.
The same will go for the Infantry. After drop-outs and test failures, the numbers will be negligible. Having a very tiny minority of women serving in what will remain pretty much all-male units will be counterproductive and harmful to morale and combat effectiveness.

"The whole thing will turn out to be a very costly, damaging and futile exercise in political correctness — funded of course by the taxpayer. The Army did not want this, but it was forced on them by politically correct politicians."

In December 2018, then defence secretary Gavin Williamson announced that all roles within the Army, including "close combat units" such as the infantry and tank units, along with the SAS, would be open to women.

At the time Williamson praised the day as a defining moment in the history of the Armed Forces. He said:"I am delighted that for the first time in its history, our Armed Forces will be determined by ability alone and not gender.

"So by opening all combat roles to women, we will maximise the talents available to our military and further make the Armed Forces a more modern employer."

The MoD also said that it planned to increase the number of female troops so that they comprise 30 per cent of the Army — a figure equivalent to almost 22,000 personnel — by 2030.

There are currently about 9,000 female troops serving in the Army so for defence chiefs to reach their own target of 30 per cent they will need to increase female numbers threefold within six years.

Col Philip Ingram, a former Military Intelligence officer said: "Since the MoD opened all roles in the services numbers of women joining the arms, infantry and armoured corps have been pitifully small. This is for a number of reasons. The MoD are still playing at equality, and misogyny remains rife and this is reflected in recruitment.

"MoD targets for women in the RAC and infantry are and will remain totally unachievable until defence wakes up to the fact that it doesn’t have all the answers itself and needs help to properly understand the issues around its people."

A MoD spokesman said: "All roles in our Armed Forces are open to women — including ground close combat and armoured roles — because we want to recruit the best people to serve the country. This is about opportunity, fairness and maximising the potential pool of talent.

"Anyone who has the drive and capability to succeed will get the chance to do so."

In Haiti, attackers kidnapped seven clergy and parishioners
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] At least six parishioners and a clergyman of the Catholic Church were kidnapped by unknown assailants in Haiti. This was reported by the local news portal Haiti Libre.

The incident took place in the city of Port-au-Prince, all the abducted were men, they were members of the same Catholic community. According to preliminary data, armed attackers seized people in the morning when they were heading to celebrate the bicentenary of the local school, which remained the only one operating in Port-au-Prince.

It is clarified that the kidnappers are demanding a large ransom in exchange for the release of people. Police suspect that an armed gang operating in the area may be involved in the abduction. It is noted that recently cases of kidnapping of clergy for ransom have become more frequent in Haiti.

Earlier, IA Regnum reported that in September 2023, Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry, during a speech at the UN General Assembly, called on the international community to help his country in the fight against rampant banditry.
Ummm... I seem to recall that the last time Haiti got help, a new type of cholera and a serious excess of STDs were introduced into the ecosystem by the helpers. And the Clinton Foundation somehow made serious bank.
The security and humanitarian situation has deteriorated in Haiti following the 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse and the earthquake that occurred in August of that year, killing over two thousand people. The country is overwhelmed by crime; local security forces cannot cope with street gangs, which are constantly fighting for the redistribution of spheres of influence.

Neighborhoods in major cities are controlled by street gangs, and in the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, open war between criminal groups has paralyzed the work of educational institutions.

Embalmers finding thick, rubbery clots in veins and arteries
[American Thinker] Strange; fibrous; often long, thick white clots are being extracted from the vascular systems of corpses by embalmers. For an example of what these clots look like, here is a one-minute video of such a clot being extracted by embalmer Richard Hirschmann of Alabama from the jugular vein of a deceased person. Mr. Hirschmann says he has about 250 such pictures on his phone.

British doctor John Campbell recently interviewed retired U.S. Air Force major, engineer, and data analyst Thomas Haviland about an "Embalmer Blood Clot Survey" that Mr. Haviland sent out to 50 National, Regional, and State Funeral Director Associations, each with hundreds of members in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and New Zealand. Mr. Haviland also sent the surveys directly to over 1,700 funeral homes. The surveys asked if, when, and how often the respondents may have encountered these strange, predominantly white clots during their work as embalmers. The astonishing video of that interview is about 48 minutes long and contains images of large, rubbery clots, as well as several graphs of various statistics compiled from the survey responses.

Here are some of the salient points from the interview:

  • These white clots were never observed until they first began to appear in 2020. They were likely caused by the COVID virus. The occurrence of the clots exploded in 2021, after millions of people had been vaccinated. By 2022, an average of 30% of embalmed corpses were found to have these clots (the preponderance of typical "grape jelly" clots and "coffee ground" clots — small, dark clots resembling coffee grounds — also increased.) By 2023, the average percentage of white clots had dropped to 20%.

  • Correlation is not causation, but there is an awful lot of correlation. Anecdotally, some embalmers report that all the individuals in whom the clots were found had been vaccinated (some 80% of U.S. adults received at least two shots). We were told that the vaccines would remain in the deltoid and produce enough spike proteins to provoke an immune response, but we now know that the spike proteins permeated the entire body — the vascular system and organs, including ovaries, the placenta, and mothers’ breast milk. (There was a 25% increase in infant deaths in 2023.)

  • Mr. Haviland believes that many instances of these clots are never observed. Bodies may be cremated, or hospitals may take care of the remains for the families. Autopsies alone often do not reveal the clots, as medical examiners don’t drain blood, but mostly examine slices of organs. The responses to the surveys were underwhelming (except in Pennsylvania, where 125 responses came back within five days). Mr. Haviland believes that many Funeral Director Associations and funeral directors, having previously encouraged or forced their embalmers to take the shots, suppressed the surveys or disallowed their employees from answering them. It’s a matter of not finding what you’re not looking for.
Actuarial tables identify a 10% increase in mortality over the last three years. To an individual who may know of 10 people who died last year, the difference between 10 and 11 deaths is not significant, but in the aggregate, it amounts to over 300,000 U.S. excess deaths per year. Globally, the numbers are horrendous. Cancers, myocarditis, opioid overdoses, old age, and other factors often combine to hasten death, but Dr. Cambell and Mr. Haviland are convinced that these large clots were the direct cause of death on the corpses in which they were found.

Both men are calling for a moratorium on the use of mRNA vaccines. That recommendation is eminently reasonable but entirely unlikely. Mr. Haviland says that Big Pharma has around 40 new mRNA vaccines in the works. Apparently, all manner of vaccines destined to be administered from cradle to grave are being transformed into mRNA shots. Mr. Haviland has sent all his findings to the CDC, the FDA, and the NIH but has yet to hear a peep back from any of them.

It's not enough to resign oneself to "what’s done is done" — not when Big Pharma and the public and private medical establishments are hell-bent on making mRNA vaccines ubiquitous. We must resist.

#9  I know a mortician I went to high school with and asked her about this early last year. She has seen this before COVID from auto-immune issues where people expired from it. It was rare, but definitely jumped in cases seen after the vaccine. So based off that limited data set it seems if you have any sort of auto-immune issue, don't take mRNA vaccines.

    Cause of issue? No.
    Exacerbates issue? Yes.

Indeed. At the time, there was a faction arguing that we should send robots instead of humans. But humans make pretty good general purpose robots despite being soft and squishy, which allows them to do tricks like dodging last-minute boulders. Our robotic systems are better now, but all the parts still have to work.

Drugs that tweak your DNA to eliminate hunger FOR GOOD and retain every ounce of muscle... top obesity expert reveals the dozens of 'Ozempic 2.0 meds' being developed to cash in on obesity gold rush
[DM] Look for Military grade products to increase muscle mass/endurance/oxygenation.
Blockbuster drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy revolutionized the weight-loss world.

Experts estimate that the drugs alone will raise the US GDP by $360billion, by making workers more productive and healthy.

And despite growing evidence of lasting side effects like diarrhea, stomach paralysis, and suicidal thoughts, the growth continues.

Weight-loss experts are now predicting what Ozempic and Wegovy's next chapter will look like, such as the drugs being available as cheaper pills or genetic altering that eliminates the need for medications altogether.

Speaking this week at a health conference hosted by the Wall Street Journal in Boston, Dr Florencia Halperin, an endocrinologist and chief medical officer at Form Health, said that there's a 'tremendous pipeline of drugs' in development that could streamline or even eventually replace Ozempic.

Currently, Ozempic and Wegovy use the active ingredient semaglutide to mimic the production of glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), a protein that triggers hormones in the brain to tell the stomach that it's full.

'We've known about GLP-1, a hormone that intestinal cells make, since the 1980s, and that has kind of paved the way for the development of GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs,' she told DailyMail.com.

'But weight regulation is very complex, and GLP-1 is not the only pathway that controls weight regulation. There are other sort of opportunities to develop drugs and other targets.'

However, there are risks with targeting certain hormones, as they can lead to a variety of bizarre side effects. For example, some patients have reported less desire to drink alcohol or gamble.

While upcoming treatments are in various stages of testing, Dr Halperin said that options like oral GLP-1 agonists and those that target other hormones could hit the market in a short amount of time. 'I can guess as early as next year,' she said.

However, she noted that more extensive treatments, such as gene editing, could take several years to become available to the public.

She estimates that at least 70 treatments are in development.

GLP-1 agonists have are already starting to evolve quickly, with the newest injection, Zepbound, being approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in November.

The medication contains the active ingredient tirzepatide, which is also found in Mounjaro. Not only does it target GLP-1, but also the hormone glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), which experts believe might also improve how the body breaks down sugar and fat, alongside dampening appetite.
