Cause enforcing laws is only desirable and viable against your political opponents? One set of rules for me, another set of rules for thee - is not "equal before the law"

The real problem is a perfect storm of events: (1) Federal policies that have made it comfortable to stay on welfare and even promote single parent homes for the poor (2) School policies that cage kids rather than teach them critical thinking (3) Prisons that are comfortable enough that they serve as criminal universities (4) Elites that tell people that the crime, broken homes, and grinding poverty are caused by someone else in order to get elected.
[ArutzSheva] Considering Baltimore, the Obama Administration ought to think twice before lecturing Israel about adopting a "two-state-solution."
Baltimore is where an incident of alleged police brutality led to a fatality and to days of looting, burning and rioting. It's still going on as we write.
...Which is why word from US Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman is such an unwelcome intrusion. The problem here, IMO, two-fold. (i) We dealing here with a bunch of people, who---except in the narrow area of fooling their countrymen---are total idiots. But, and that's the central point of their religion, consider themselves geniuses. (ii) They, including their household "Jews", don't really believe (not deep inside---the only place that really counts) that Jewish People are entitled to a country of their own: a cannibal tribe Bolonga-Monga in Upper Bumfuck yes, Jews no.
She insists that Israel must pledge itself to a two-state solution, otherwise the Jewish State can forget about counting on the United States at the UN and who knows where else. Then we'll just have to make a deal with somebody, how shall I put it, more pragmatic---won't we?

Bolonga-Monga? Oh yes, Bolonga-Monga, it's just 20 miles north of here. Top off your petrol tank. Be sure to lock your doors, absolutely no stopping, take along plenty of bottled water, and keep your S&W at the ready.

The end of the oil economy will lead to the end of Israel's troubles. Nobody will care a rats ass what happens in the Arab world if they didn't have oil and thus have money to export their pathologies.
Of course the end of the oil economy is some distance away still because the greens are fighting everything that might replace it as imperfect.
[SultanKnish] Race riots usually begin with criminality and end with criminality. They're protests by criminals on behalf of a dead criminal.
The stores with smashed windows aren't the means to express outrage, but the end. The purpose of criminality is criminality. The police exist so that stores can remain unrobbed and random pedestrians can remain unbeaten. The protests express opposition to that policy by robbing stores and assaulting random white people.
The police were never the problem. The looters and rioters were.
The counterculture has not changed dramatically since the 70's, but it has tossed aside any appearance of idealism. The new counterculture draws in two groups, disaffected upper middle class white youth and lower class black youth. Their goals are purely materialistic, looted iPods and government subsidies for housing, education and anything else they can think of.
Divestment is the common denominator. Neither the white leftist nor the lower-class black rioter is invested in his society. The white rioter is a globalist, the black rioter is an outsider. Neither are invested in the city and country they are busy trashing.
These are the children of the welfare state with little in common except a rejection of the commercial way of life. Neither the entitled white university brat or the posturing ghetto teenager has any interest in working. The businesses they smash are an alien thing to them. Small businessmen do not go about smashing stores. The people who do think of commodities as something they trick or intimidate others into giving to them. And that covers everyone from municipal unions to thugs driving around BMW's.
This lawless materialism is the essence of the welfare state. "Loot as much as you can, or someone else will." If you don't grab government benefits or sneakers in store windows, someone else will. The rich are grabbing, the pols are grabbing-- time to queue up and loot your share. Communism made this way of thinking so commonplace that all of Russia became one black market. And we are not far behind.
What kind of people behave this way? Those who have come to think of wealth as an infinite pile from which everyone grabs as much as they can. This is where the ethos of the socialist left and hip-hop comes together. Obama gleefully spending millions on himself and trillions on national giveaways for his donors and supporters is the most obnoxious fusion of this phenomenon.

Yep. When an entire generation has been told from birth that everyone deserves a trophy regardless of their talent or work ethic, sooner or later they demand it with violence.
Whether they are entitled college brats or entitled ghetto thugs.

Both of which are concentrated in urban islands to which both are oblivious to their dependency upon the 'outside world'. They produce none of the basics that make their environment possible.

'Urban Islands' ie, urbanization, and powerful, concentrated voting blocks are the plan. Integration is not the plan, never has been. In most cases the cultural span is far too wide.
In other news: The Ayoreo of Paraguay continue to boycott enrollment at the prestigious Yale Law School.

When you clear cut and strip mine the productive class out of your social political environments, you end up with a Detroit. You have your political control you seek but you're left with pretty much a Pyrrhic victory. One of the unsaid mottoes of the Donks - Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven.

The inner city rioters of the Sixties were not given participation trophies and told they were wonderful at regular intervals, yet they rioted and looted anyway. There must be something else as a common denominator.

We have a permanent underclass in this country that is perpetuated by the welfare state. The likes of Barack Obama and Rev. Al Sharpton prefer to exploit this underclass for their own nefarious purposes rather than do anything positive to change things for the better. Their house organs such as ABC, NBC and CBS fan the flames every time some punk gets killed during the commission of a crime by making it sound like police go out every morning looking for some innocent kid to kill.
